Let's Talk About View!: We purchased this unit because of the Location and Views. Many units in the building have side views, or are in the back.....this one is right in the front, looking at the water. From the kitchen, you can watch the river, ducks, occasional pelican who drops by for a bath, fish jumping, and tidal changes. The lighthouse immediately goes on as the sun sets, and that is lovely to view as well.
While relaxing In the living room, both ocean surf, harbor and river can be enjoyed.
Now, from the bed, you can check the surf out, watch boats go and come from the harbor, and generally feel private and peaceful.
Sunset time is the time to relax on the private deck, and each season brings lots to see. Hopefully the pictures can show you the wide range of sunsets that occur in this area.
This is a new building, and we were the first owners. We'd love to share our special place with you. It's great in the summer to escape the heat of our Southern neighbors, in winter, we welcome snowbirds!
Sparkling Kitchen and Baths: The unit is only 3 years old, and from the granite counter tops, to the stainless steel appliances, you can really enjoy preparing meals. There is everything to make your stay comfortable, including dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, waffle iron, blender, coffer pot, coffee bean grinder, spices, crock pot, you name it, we have it! Because we lived here, we outfitted the unit for us and left everything there when we moved to Oregon.
Living Room / Dining and Bedroom: All newly purchased furniture, top grain leather in living room, rattan in dining with glass top, bar stools for occasional dining.
Our KING bed has a temper pedic mattress, so comfortable and restful. The master bath has a step in shower; and the 2nd full bath has a tub/shower.

My husband and I have been married for 40+ years and have 4 wonderful 'children'. Both of us are retired now, love to travel, and for many years have rented out our Hawaiian places (Kona (142133) and Maui-(320138). We enjoy having nice furnishings, full kitchens with all the necessities to prepare healthy meals, comfortable sleeping conditions, and the VIEW is of the utmost importance.

We lived in California for many years, and sold our house after the 4 children were all settled. Because I was still working, we purchased this condo in Oceanside (brand new) and lived it in for 2 years. Being new, we were able to choose the upgraded appliances, flooring, granite tops, lights, etc. Then we set off to find the best furniture to meet our needs. It was wonderful to live there, and have such awesome views day and night. Now living in Oregon in our new home, we do return to Southern California to visit two of our 'kids' who live there. The rest of the time, we thought it might be the perfect 'home away from home' for other guests. So we would love to share this place with you!
Secure building, views of the water from every room, sunsets year round, lovely pool, jacuzzi and barbeque area, exercise room, underground garage, and the ability to walk to the beach and harbor are some of the many benefits to this property.
Was it really Christmas with such beautiful weather, we were able to sit on the beach! The harbor had decorations,and we were in a beautiful condo with a setting to match. The pool is heated, there are outdoor fireplaces to sit by, the jacuzzi is ready, and the barbeques are easy to use. This condo has it all, the owners are easy to work with, and it is upgraded with a totally great view. Sunsets were spectacular and you could walk to downtown, shops, restaurants,& farmer's market on Thurs.
As the title suggests, this is our new home away from Phoenix. We're halfway through a two month stay at Gayle's condo, and have already booked next year due to the following...
* At check in we found the unit in brand new condition and cleaner than a five star hotel.
* The furnishings both in style and comfort rival our own home.
* Fantastic views and ocean breezes throughout the day and evening.
* Bought a bike, lost 7 lbs, and ride to the pier every morning for coffee with some new found friends.
* Couple of minutes down the road at the Marine base is where I've spent my Mondays playing golf with some real hero's.
* My wife found multiple malls and restaurants within easy walking or driving distance, so she's on board for new visits as well.
* Condo owners are very nice, responsive to our questions, and it's apparent this was their home before sharing it with others.
* Love the trains that pass our view and enjoyed the Coaster rides into Old SD for dinner.
* Lastly, we appreciate the underground parking, security, and quiet surroundings.
Looking forward to beating the Phoenix summer heat at Gayle and Bill's condo for years to come.
We are returning to Seacliff condo. A death in the family prevented us from returning in 2015 .
The condo is much more than advertised. Pictures can not describe the fantastic view. The location would be very hard to beat. We visited 22 restaurants during our stay within a short drive. All the restaurants in the marina are just across the river.
The kitchen is very well equipped, much better than most rentals.
Even the parking space was very convenient.
Our dealings with Gayle have been a pleasure and any questions that we had were promptly answered.
Over the years we have vacationed from Hawaii to Mexico to Florida but this is the first time that we have repeated a vacation rental.
My husband and I booked this beautiful condo for a relaxing getaway during the winter time. Although the pictures were certainly beautiful and made it look like a fabulous place to stay, they really didn't do it justice! We arrived and found the decor to be just wonderful, the kitchen and baths to be as well appointed as our own homes, and the view was absolutely gorgeous! We felt we were really in a home away from home...exactly what we were hoping for! The location was great for exploring the local area and the building itself had wonderful features. We frequently enjoyed a glass of wine and appetizers on the patio and loved watching the wildlife down below and the gorgeous view. Furniture was extremely comfortable (including the bed!), which was very important to my husband. I can't imagine there being anything you would need that isn't available to you there. We will likely be back yearly as it was just too wonderful of an experience to pass up. Thanks again!
This unit had absolutely everything one could ask for, including books, movies, spices for cooking, extra towels, inside washer/dryer, beach chairs, a lovely patio and a view to die for. Interior is definitely upscale, with lovely furniture and finishings; spacious and roomy with 2 full bathrooms, which we appreciated. Their is an open floor plan, granite counters in kitchen and both baths, stainless steel appliances, lovely wood floors throughout the main living area. Tile of course in the bathroom, with carpet in the master.
The location between San Diego and Los Angeles allows for so much exploring, not to mention the wine country of Temecula.
We did lots of day trips with our car, and then several rides on the trains that go right out of the Oceanside transit center. We could walk to the center, or parking in the garage is free for the day too.
There are several grocery stores within a short drive, and don't forget to go to the farmer's market on Thursday right in town. Restaurants are a short walk to the harbor or town, and there are so many choices.
So much activity can be enjoyed from the unit's windows............you'll see the river with wonderful different birds and ducks; the bike trail has lots of bikers and walkers going by, the small commuter trains run past; as well as the beach with it's surfers, and the harbor with the boats going in and out.
Owners were easy to work with and I highly recommend this condo and want to return again to Oceanside, for another holiday because at the end of the day, it felt like a "home away from home".
The listing was very accurate, and met all our expectations and then some! Everything was meticulously clean, and taken care of to meet our every need. We actually appreciated that owners would allow folks to share their home, as it is obviously loved by them and it's just so wonderful that they would open it up to strangers.
We talked with them, several times (via e mail) and they were very gracious in answering all our questions.
Going out to eat was such fun, as we walked to the harbor (which you can see from the unit itself) and there are numerous choices for happy hour, lunches or dinner. We also walked to town a few times, and that was further, but a nice stroll along the beach.
For anyone who loves birds, there are a lot of different species to observe from the great patio.....owners even had binoculars to use, which was wonderful.

What a marvelous surprise when we arrived at the condo in Oceanside. Pictures just don't capture the beauty both inside and out. The views from all the windows and deck area were a sight we never tired of.
Shopping, restaurants, farmer's markets, groceries, (many choices) even factory stores are very convenient; tourist spots are many within an easy drive north, south, or east.
The environment at the condo is peaceful, including a courtyard with palm tress, beautiful swimming pool and spa, a workout room, pool table, and gas BBQ grills to cook at, while sitting a the outdoor fireplace if there is a chill in the air at night.
Small commuter trains with 3-4 cars pass by frequently during the day, (be sure to take one of them ( the coaster) to San Diego, it's right out of the Oceanside transit center and for seniors, it costs $3.00 each way. The ride is about an hour, with lovely vistas of the ocean and small quaint towns along the coast.
This condo is furnished beautifully, and includes the most comfortable King bed that we have ever slept in.
Owners have taken a great deal of care to provide for our every need and are easy to communicate with. We love coffee and having a grinder for fresh beans was an unexpected treasure.
At night, we enjoyed the many varied sunsets with a glass of wine on the deck outside, which has lovely sunbrella covered cushions.
We don't hesitate to recommend this condo for those who love the beach.
