GORGEOUS MANSION TO ENJOY THE VACATION OF YOUR DREAMS ON MAINE LAKES!

We rented this home to enjoy with 2 other families for 4 days over February Vacation week. It was everything described and more! A beautiful home with so many added touches. We were instructed that Leslie would meet us at the home to get us aquainted. Well, we walked in to the most marvelous smell of fresh baked brownies (the best I have ever tasted!) and a delicious cake. What a wonderful added touch! The house is spectacular! Every bedroom has its own beautiful bathroom. Each couple felt like they had their own suite and each had so much privacy! The beds were very comfortable with beautiful bedding. Nice soft towels for use in each bathroom! We barely left the home as it was so enjoyable. The large fireplace in the great room kept the entire first floor so cozy! The fireplace wood was stocked, no trips outside in the snow to bring it in! There was additional wood in the garage for us to use as well! The kitchen was well stocked with every amenity you can imagine and has two fridges and wine chiller! The added touch is the large ice maker! Its a great kitchen for those who like to cook and entertain. Its a wondeful open floor plan to the great room so everyone can converse while meals are being prepared.
Overall we had 6 adults, 4 teenagers and 3 younger children. There was plenty of room for all of us. The kids had a great time down in the media room! There were NUMEROUS movies to choose from. One added bonus was the awesome screened in porch with the large comfy sectional. We actually sat outside, during a blizzard with the fire roaring! It was lovely! The blizzard did not even bother us, it actually added to the fun of the weekend!We spent time exploring snowshoeing on the lake and exploring some of the fishing holes. The area is gorgeous and so private! We did hire Leslie to prepare a meal for us one evening. It was the highlight of the long weekend. She is a gourmet cook! Lobster and filets! The best bernaise I have ever tasted!! So delicious. She and her assistant Missy were true professionals but we all felt so forutnate to have met them both! We are already discussing what week we want to return in the summer! Just a lovely, relaxing time! I should also mention, the owner was great! Responsive, called right away to talk about the house. Leslie followed up right away and just talking to her ahead of renting the house gave us the warm fuzzies so we felt we were making the right decision from the start! Cheers!
