peace and quiet at the lake with my family!

We loved our stay at Duck Lake and are coming back next year! The kids have a safe play area in front of the place (huge yard with bad mitten set up, and directly on the quiet waterfront area) or we sent them for bike rides around the peninsula. It was true, there is very little traffic, and we felt comfortable sending the kids down to the park to play outside (like kids are supposed to do!). We spent lots of time playing on the water with our boat and worked well with the owner's provided hoist! We even caught some fish (keepers) off the dock. We ended up having so much fun, we only went to town to get food. If the weather would have been bad, I can see that the town would be fun too!
