Agriturismo La Papessa is part of the Montecchio Estate, a private property in the heart of Chianti Region, Tuscany, deeped in nature, between vineyards and olive trees. Inside the farm, nearby to the wine cellars where Chianti Classico DOCG is produced, is possible to taste and to purchase wine, oil and grappa of great personality, in a splendid frame constituted from old strokes of seasoned wood. It offers hospitality in 11 simple apartments. The furniture reflects the simplicity and the culture of the place, includes antique furniture, and is comfortable, but not luxurious. The apartments are composed of a dining room with kitchen, complete with oven and dishwasher, and living room with sofa and SAT TV. The sleeping area consists of one or more bedrooms served by one or two bathrooms with shower and hairdryer. Some apartments have the fireplace and private garden. All apartments are equipped with safe box, air conditioning or heating for the winter months.
