Apartment, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2)

Renovated in March 2011.

Excellent, central location for the greater Los Angeles area. Comfy-cozy one bedroom apartment with Old Hollywood charm rents at a one month minimum, but we will rent for one week between gaps of less than one month, so please be sure to check our calendar before inquiring. May also consider a one week rental if your arrival date backs against the exit date of current guest. Negotiable rates for long term stays. Apartment is limited to two guests.

Place is a charming, lower unit of a two story guest house on a private residence. It's a beautifully decorated, sunny gem of an apartment in a garden setting. Rent with our front house (VRBO # 137805) for even larger parties or the upper two bedroom unit (VRBO # 79298). Backyard and outdoor dining table and Weber barbecue are shared with other residents of the complex.

We have cable television in the living room and bedroom as well as a DVD player. Good Wifi signal throughout. Table/desk area for your laptop has radio/CD player with an iPod dock. Apartment is just a few minutes walk from the Ma Maison Sofitel, Beverly Center, Cedars Sinai Hospital, the Pacific Design Center as well as the Urth Cafe, the coffee house to the stars.

Only a few minutes away is downtown West Hollywood and Santa Monica Boulevard, the Grove/Farmers Market, and five minutes away are Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and Melrose Avenue in Hollywood. The beach and airport are 25 minutes away.

Bedroom has new mattress and box spring and a large sliding door closet and television set with DVD player. In the living room is a second walk in closet/storage area. Kitchen is well equipped with non-stick cook ware , utensils, bake ware, etc.

Apartment has easy street parking in safe, upscale neighborhood on Huntley Drive, one of the best streets in west West Hollywood. The area is green and leafy, near end of a cul-de-sac, behind a gated property in a garden setting. The historic neighborhood of single family homes was built mostly in the Twenties and Thirties. It's excellent for visiting business people, writers, actors, and vacationers.

Gorgeous, relaxing, quiet hideaway

I stayed in the cottage for one night this week to preview it for my upcoming two month stay. It was better than I had ever imagined. It is spacious, sparkling clean, and comfortable. The garden outside is peaceful and fragrant. All within few yards of Beverly Center. The best part, though, was Clark the owner. He is responsive, friendly,and professional, and he takes pride in his properties. I love working with him and am thrilled to have found him and this cottage for the summer.

Staying in this property could not have been an easier or more pleasurable experience. From the simplicity of paying over the phone to the ease of gaining entry to the property after a 14 hour flight, it was seamless. This place has a lovely feel to it, a beautiful garden and is in a quiet dead end street despite being a stone’s throw from the Beverly Centre and all conveniences. It is a very safe area and the parking was a breeze right out the front of the property, the beauty of a no through street I guess! The property itself had all the comforts of home and there was nothing I felt I should have brought with me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and I only wished it could have been longer!

Wonderful Stay in Warm and Sunny West Hollywood

We were among the first guests at this great little place when we came for the birth of our first grand child. It's a nice apartment, very pretty, very clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet for being in the middle of L.A. My wife brought in lots of roses from the garden because even vases were provided. Nearby are so many great places to eat but we cooked in for the most part or used the barbecue. Bed was comfortable, washer and dryer was just out back, and our family in L.A. was able to visit. Owner was very easy to deal with, prompt and professional. We'd be glad to stay here again when grand child number 2 is due.
