AUTHENTICITY...: You will love the wooden beams, the wooden floor, and the high ceiling of this apartment, which give the place a real authenticity and a warm feeling..
SUCH A LOVELY PLACE...: The windows of the apartment overlook a medieval cobble-stoned courtyard in a building dating back to the 17th century (formerly a convent!). Security is assured by two door codes and an intercom.

This apartment is perfect for visitors who want to be in the very centre of Paris, with everything in easy walking distance.
We had the pleasure of staying in this apartment for 8 nights in October 2014. The apartment in it's self is fantastic with all the amenities that you could possibly need. '
The owner Laurence was lovely, her communication was excellent and her description of the property is spot on.
The location was perfect for the tourist in Paris. We were able to walk (with a 7 year old child) to nearly all the sights (with the exception of the Eifel Tower), The apartment was a 10 min walk to the river to the hop on hop off boat which took you to the Eifel Tower.
The surrounding area in Marais was outstanding with plenty of cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, shops etc at your door step. Although the apartment is in a vibrant and lively area we didn't have any trouble with sound from the streets at night and always felt very safe (unlike other areas in Paris) when walking around at any time.
Next time we plan a visit to Paris we will definitely be booking this apartment first and have no problem in recommending it to all our family and friends.
Thank you Laurence for making our holiday one to remember.

There is not much I can add to everything that has already been written--the consistency of the high ratings speaks for itself. This is a wonderful little apartment in the heart of the Merais district. Everything a person (or 2-3-4 people) could want--bakeries, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, boutiques, dry cleaning, Metro, etc.--is either around the corner or a few minutes away. Close to major thoroughfares and bustling sidestreets, yet cozy and secluded (and secure). Laurence was completely gracious and responsive at all times. We look forward to visiting again!
We visited Paris with my family ( my wife, 2 children and myself ) for 7 days and the Marais is a great place to stay in Paris. The apartment is comfortable, was very clean, fully equipped for a family or group of friends. Loved the loft room, very cosy - comfortable beds, so everything was perfect!
It was also great to have laundry facilities.
The apartment is located in a very nice neighborhood littered with amazing restaurants, pubs and shops.. It has everything you need to buy (great wine shop next door to the apartment, grocery store, pharmacy, supermarket, and even a sexy lingerie shop! etc).
A few blocks to Notre-dame cathedral, the Conciergerie, holy chapel, the Louvre museum, the list goes on and on... and right near the Pompidou centerl! A quick subway ride to the Eiffel tower and champs elyses! we had great fun wandering the streets around the apartment with no destination, enjoying the street musicians and wonderful restaurants. We look forward to returning!
Laurence is a great hostess ... always willing to help us!
My family enjoyed the apartment and would definitely return to this wonderful apartment!
We loved “our” Paris apartment on Rue Quincampoix. Clean, cozy, quiet and well-equipped. As we lugged our things up the stairs, we were glad we packed lightly. The location is incredible. Walk to the Seine, Notre Dame, The Louvre….the list goes on and on. We’re not as young and spry as we used to be, which made the loft bed a bit of an adventure, but once ensconced, very comfortable. The windows open to a peaceful courtyard. Lovely. Laurence, the landlord, is a pleasure to deal with. She is professional, but also kind. An excellent communicator. Who would have thought the weather in October would get a bit too warm? We returned tired and hot late one afternoon, and lo and behold, my husband found a fan in the closet. Covered in a small bag to stay dust-free, which is just one example of how the apartment is filled with Laurence’s special touches and thoughtfulness. Our last morning, we tiptoed down the stairs before dawn to catch our early flight home, gently closed the gate and the beautiful red door behind us, walked through the quiet neighborhood to the nearby train station and caught an express to CDG. So grateful for our visit to Paris.
Our stay in this apartment exceeded our expectations,
Laurence was accommodating, charming and thorough in explaining about the apartment and its amenities and gave good directions for finding our way though the neighborhood.
The apartment is very clean, organized and comfortable. The loft bedroom is cozy and requires a bit of adjustment for a tall person, but the bed is quite comfortable. we were 3 people staying in the apartment but didn't feel cramped, since the ceiling is high and the apartment has a lot of natural light.
I would certainly rent this apartment for a future visit.
This place is fabulous. Its location could not be better. It is in the wonderful, bustling Beaubourg/Marais neighborhood, packed with activity, restaurants, things to look at and enjoy, yet quiet at the same time, situated on the lovely little Rue Quincampoix, a medieval, pedestrian lane. Though the apartment is not a big place, our family of four (parents and two 7-year-old twins) were absolutely comfortable here--it's clean, well accommodated, and full of conveniences. We walked practically everywhere from here, and it always felt good to settle in after a busy day.
Special thanks and praise go to Laurence--she is remarkable. She always went above and beyond expectations in communicating with us, supplying us with great recommendations, replying almost instantaneously to all emails, being there precisely when she said she'd be--she is entirely reliable and helpful. You should have no hesitation booking this place. We are already longing to return.
