My friends and I rented this house for a Spring getaway. The house was beautiful and we really enjoyed the porch and rocking chairs. We found the kitchen great for cooking and baking, and the picnic table was perfect for games. The owner was very responsive and I would definitely return for another vacation.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful home

I rented this home with my family for my birthday weekend and it was everything I hoped it would be. The house is located at the end of a long, private road so it's very quiet and secluded. Inside the home is adorable. We loved the two wood burning fireplaces and it was an extra bonus that there was wood provided.

The owner was a pleasure to deal with from the very beginning. When we arrived at the house I noticed the pack and play was missing. After informing the owner he went out and bought a new one and personally drove it all the way to the house for us.

My family and I enjoyed sledding right on the side of the house. My 18 month old had a blast and we could barely get her to come inside. It lightly snowed every day and it was just so peaceful and beautiful there.

Overall we had a fantastic weekend and I would definitely recommend staying at this home. My family and I hope to return in the future and enjoy it again!

v-day weekend rental

We rented this property for valentines day weekend with two other couples.
I have to say that we are very pleased with this rental and the service provided. The property looked exactly as it does in the pictures and the listing description on amenities, location, etc was pretty accurate.
The home was clean and well kept and felt inviting.. It even had a journal in the living room for guests to"mark" their presence and experiences.
There was a lot to do on the property, from cooking, playing board/card games, tv/movies to sledding and taking walks outside, etc.. kept us pretty entertained.and it made for a great bonding experience. We felt right at home. The landlord was very friendly, easy-going and professional which made for an even more pleasant experience.
We definitely recommend this property.. And we look forward to returning soon!

Great Vacation

We just returned from staying at this house. We had a great experience from the second we got in contact with the owners through the staying itself. The owner was very helpful and responsive. When we arrived we were happy to find that the house looks exactly like in the photos (which not always happens when your rent a house). Everything was very very clean and nicely furnished! I am very picky about the cleanliness of houses we rent and this by far exceeded our expectations including the white towels and clean bedding. During winter time there is everything you need to enjoy the fireplace in the living room and in the master bedroom which was very romantic. The house is also perfect for kids, we have 3 kids (age 10, 8 & 4) and they could play without us being afraid that they will break something, there were toys and books that my kids enjoyed reading on the sofa upstairs. The kids found different sleds outside in the shed, and because there was still snow outside they enjoyed sledding down the hill and then we were able to use the washer and dryer in the basement to clean the wet cloths. Last the kitchen is fully equipped, if you love to cook and bake you have it all there, so bring food and enjoy cooking and eating. Great experience!

Perfect house to go on vacation to!

This was one of the most amazing vacation houses we ever stayed at!!! It has it's charm, coziness and character. It's in the secluded area in the woods and has a private slope where children and adults can sled in winter in the snowy beautiful weather. The house is clean and has everything you need to stay comfortably away from home. But if you forget some things, there is a Walmart where you can buy anything you need 30 min. away from the house. The kitchen has everything to feel right at home and it has my favorite name brands like Crate and Barrel, Calphalon and many others that I have at my own home. The bedrooms are fantastic to sleep in and wake up to a beautiful mountain view. The sheets are super clean and crisp and towels are snowy white. Everything is with great tasteful touches. Laundry was provided in the basement and it came in handy because our kids were wet from snow and ability to have the laundry came in handy.
In other words everything was perfect just like it was described. The owner is very responsive and fast with replies. We told all of our friends that we vacationed in a house from a magazine and they were jealous :)
It's deffenetly a house you would want to get away to from busy iifestyle and the city. We were super happy to be one of the first ones to rent out this great house! :)

So peaceful and beautiful it's almost hard to believe it is real! Enjoy mountain views from a rocking chair on the three-sided wrap around porch. Take in the views of not only beautiful mountains, but wild turkeys and deer. Fun, casual and spacious kitchen and dining area is a wonderful place to gather. Bring the outdoors in all year with picnic table dining! Head to the living room or outdoors for a leisurely hike on our 5 wooded acres. The living room is wonderful for relaxing, enjoying a fire and conversation. Fire anyone? Want to watch tv or a movie? Use the 38" flat screen with Direct TV and DVD. Have the convenience of a powder room on the first floor. Center hall stairs leading to the well appointed guest rooms on the second floor Enjoy a book in the reading nook. There are books for all ages and interests. The master has a king bed, w/b fireplace, seating area, office, and full bath. Who wouldn't enjoy a romantic roaring fire before bed? The master bedroom also has a flat screen TV with Direct TV and a DVD player. Picture of the master bath and office. The wonderful office is flooded with natural light and enjoys the homes WiFi. View from the master shows the layout of the bedrooms and the privacy offered. The "gold room" has a queen bed. All bedrooms have ceiling fans for your comfort The "rose room" has a playful white picket fence headboard and beautiful views. The guest bath has an antique claw foot soaking tub that is also a shower. A Winter view of the Willowemoc, known for it's world class Fly Fishing. At the end of a long private road is our dream home, we hope you come to visit.
