Townhome, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths

Please inquire about special rates for 8/24 - 8/30 (6 nights) - I'll cover taxes, and reduce cleaning fee for this time frame. A savings of close to $300.00. Accommodations: Townhome, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Full Baths. Capable of sleeping up to 6 adults, and 3 children. Prefer only 6 adults, but maximum adults allowed is 7. This is a beautiful townhome in the Water’s Edge development of Folly Beach overlooking the river. Our townhome sleeps nine comfortably with a 3rd floor master king bedroom suite (with jacuzzi tub and twin sinks), 2nd floor queen bedroom, and 3rd floor bunk bedroom with twin over full and twin over twin bunk beds (sleeps 5). All bedrooms have their own bathrooms, closets, and TVs.

Our home is a crawl away from the river-front pool and community docks where you can enjoy an afternoon sunbathing in the pool while the boats drift by, or fishing off the community pier where spectacular sunsets are almost guaranteed. The screen porch in the main living area and the balcony off the master suite have beautiful views of the water and marsh. Wake up to the sun rising over the river or step onto the mosquito-free screened porch and enjoy dining or just relaxing. Our screen porch faces East so no hot afternoon or evening sun heating up the porch or living area.

It is a very easy walk or bike ride to Folly’s Center Street restaurants, bars, and shops. The beach is only a five-block stroll straight up 2nd street, so ride your bikes or enjoy a walk to the ocean (ride your bike on the beach at low tide – it’s the best!) Folly Beach is only 15 minutes from downtown Charleston activities. There are many things to do while on Folly Beach or in Charleston, so play, relax, and enjoy!

Our home is fully equipped with flat-screen TVs, fully stocked kitchen to serve 9+ people, beach chairs, linens, towels, blankets, and pillows are all provided. This is a very clean and well-maintained home. No smoking or pets allowed.

My wife and I have been visiting Charleston for years, and we always enjoy our trips to Folly Beach & Charleston, SC. Folly is like no other with a laid back atmosphere that we truly enjoy, and we hope that our guest will enjoy our new townhome as much as we do.

Folly Beach is only 15 minutes from downtown Charleston activities. There are many activities on Folly's Center Street where you can dine in a causual setting while enjoying some great cuisine; go shopping; or relax with a cocktail. The beach is great for bike riding at low tide and Folly island is a fantastic place to peddle around on with your bike.

Charleston has some of the finest cuisine, rather you enjoy the local flavor of the low country, fresh seafood, or gourmet meals -- it is all avaialble in Charleston! There are many historic sites and activities to do in Charleston or on the surrounding islands, so be advanturous and explore all the fantastic activites the Charleston area has to offer you while on your vacation.

Great Property in Central Location

Well equiped and maintained house with high quality furnishings in a central location. Can relax and watch dolphins from the balcony or walk to the beach & nearby resturants. Folly Beach was busy a week-ends with younger beach crowd but provided for good atmosphere. Owner responsive with clear instructions.

Great Stay!

We just got home from our week long stay here and it was wonderful. The house is very well taken care of and is bigger than the pictures make it seem. Wonderful view of the sound despite not being on the ocean. We had 8 adults stay in the house and we had enough room. Great location-we were able to walk to the restaurants and the beach, although we would drive our things to the beach each morning so we didn't have to carry it all! You could also rent a golf cart. We rented umbrellas and beach chairs through summerrentalsc for $15 for each for the whole week which I would recommend if you don't have your own. Great beach house!
Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

We had a wonderful time going to the ocean, going to the pool that was only one house away and sitting on the screened in porch watching the dolphins and the boats. We had two teenagers with us who both had a great time. They liked swimming in the ocean and hunting for shells. The Charleston area had a lot to do and we like to bird watch and saw many birds we had never seen before. We had lots of space and it was nice having a kitchen to cook some meals in instead of going out for every meal. The unit was very comfortable and clean. Great place to stay.

We (two couples from the UK) rented this vacation home for a week after spending the first week touring in the US, starting in New York. The house and location were perfect for us as we wanted to be close to Charleston, but to also be able to relax after a hectic first week. The house provided just the place for us to do exactly that. We took full advantage of the wonderful weather and spent our evenings on the deck overlooking the water watching the world go by. We were even lucky enough to see dolphins on several occasions.

Curt, the owner, was extremely helpful from the initial contact and was always very prompt in answering any queries we had leading up to our stay.

All in all, this is a wonderful vacation home which we would recommend to anyone wanting to either spend time at the beach and/or to visit Charleston.
