Good experience for a short stay

  • 5 of 5
The unit did meet our expectations. We liked the full kitchen, and the bedding was comfortable. Great location in Prospector Square and adjacent to a Park City bus stop with regular service. The price was right for what we wanted, and we would stay here again.

Small, cramped, and noisy, but it is cheap

  • 3 of 5
We recently stayed here for our ski vacation. The place was okay. It is small and feels cramped, but it is cheap.

The walls are very thin so you hear everything. We heard someone's phone go off repeated and it was on vibrate!! Constantly heard music from the neighbors, their movement about their units, and their conversations.

The management company did not return my email or my phone call about some minor questions. So do not expect any help from them when you show. The place did not have a parking pass so I had to park in the street, which worked out for us (but could have been a major inconvenience).

This works for us.

  • 5 of 5
Condo was clean when we arrived. Brand new refrigerator. Queen beds looked new and were comfortable. We liked the iPhone charging stations in the bedrooms. On the bus route which was great since we didn't need a car. Southwestern art in the bedrooms and living room was nice. The price of the unit was very reasonable - we used the savings to eat out every night at nice restaurants.

Owner's Response: Dear Beth,
Thank you for staying with us at our Prospector Square New Claim property in Park City and for sharing your feedback.
We are very pleased to hear that you found the condo to be clean, comfortable and a great fit for you and your group during your stay with us. The Owners continue to re-invest in the property with new mattresses, appliances, décor and such and it is great to know that Guests appreciate the effort and enjoy the changes. Dining in Park City is a wonderful experience and hope you made it to some of the well-known places like Zoom, Prime Steakhouse, Chimayo and Riverhorse on Main and even found some of the better kept secrets like Purple Sage and Grappa.
Thank you again for you pleasant review and business. We hope that you return to Park City in the near future and elect to stay with us again.
Best Regards,
Anna

Affordable on a bus route

  • 3 of 5
We checked in during a very busy time at Park City. The unit was clean, and the mattresses good. After some glitches at check in, including a visit from a plumber to get both toilets working, the stay got much better. This took up much of our check in evening.

The gas logs work, and I think the refrigerator is new. The stove works, and there is very basic cooking equipment. The eating area is adequate. However, the living room sofa is not comfortable for sitting. If you bring in the balcony chairs, it will be a more comfortable sitting area. I don't know why we didn't think of this until later in our stay.

There can be some evening noise from the road and neighbors.

This is a simple, convenient unit, out of the tourist areas, on good bus routes, and it is affordable.

Thank you for staying with us at our Prospector Square New Claim property in Park City and for sharing your feedback.

I sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you faced upon arrival, but appreciate to hear that we followed up immediately with the issues and that your vacation quickly turned around. The condo is simple and dated in some respects, but the location and access to tourist attractions is fantastic. We will look into addressing some property updates with the Owner and appreciate your insight as a Guest.

Again, many thanks for your descriptive feedback and business. We hope that you will visit Park City again in the near future.

Clean spacious condo in excellent location

  • 5 of 5
My wife, daughter and I spent 3 nights here and had a wonderful time. All information was accurate as described. Unit is maintained with clean linens and new beds. The location is very convenient to bus lines as well as walking to main street. Two queen beds and two baths were a welcome treat when traveling with two women..... All of the major resorts are less than 5 minutes by car or bus. When we left we accidentally left a bag next to the car containing an ipad and other important items and documents, 4 hours later we realized or mistake and contacted the property manager who immediately ran by the condo and found our items still in the parking lot where we left them. He was nice enough to travel to Salt Lake City and drop them at a location where we could pick them up before boarding our flight home. Highly Recommend.....

Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5
I absolutely loved my stay at this condo! The condo was neat, well equipped and very "homey". The gas fireplace was wonderful. There were great views as well. I also enjoyed the hot tub. Having the bus stop right out my door made accessing all of the ski areas extremely easy. It was a treat to have close walking proximity to stores, restaurants and a well-equipped health club. I will definitely rent this condo on my next trip to Park City!!!

Map

Park City, Utah is a vibrant, lively and thriving mountain town, just 35 minutes east of Salt Lake City International Airport. This highly accessible winter (and summer!) destination town is home to the yearly Sundance Film Festival and was a host of the Salt Lake City 2002 Olympic Winter Games. As you make your way to Historic Main Street in the heart of downtown Park City, you will observe the easily recognizable and world-class mountain resorts: Canyons Resort, Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Ski Resort. The big 3 resorts in Park City were all named by SKI Magazine readers to be among the Top 10 resorts in Western North America. Deer Valley took home the #2 spot, Park City Mountain Resort was awarded the #5 ranking and Canyons Resort was named the #10 resort. This September, Outside Magazine rated Park City, Utah the #1 ski town resort of all time.

Park City is one of the top travel destinations in North America and much of the United States for skiers, snowboarders and families, who are searching for the “Best Snow on Earth”. Apart from the wintertime of skiing, snowboarding and the Sundance Film Festival, the summer time is also filled with activity. Outdoor concerts, hiking through the Wasatch National Forest, sightseeing from the top of Empire Pass, golfing at one (or all) of the pristine local courses are a regular occurrence in the neighborhood and what Park City locals enjoy everyday.

Historic Park City Main Street is a prosperous business district that offers endless access to local and luxury mountain experiences. If you are looking to enjoy an original dining experience at any one of Park City’s restaurants and breweries, immerse yourself in the arts and cultural venues or spend some time shopping the boutiques, Park City’s Main Street is such a place. Historic Main Street also offers access to numerous art galleries, a variety of activities for recreation and signature events year-round.

The possibilities are endless and we hope this guide proves useful for any organized or open-ended plans that you may have during your visit. Marquee events in the town include the sensational Sundance Film Festival, Park City Arts Festival, Savor the Summit and the Tour of Utah (stage[s]) with other seasonal local favorites’ like Park Silly Sunday Market, July 4th Parade, Miner’s Day Parade and Howl-a-Ween in October.
