The Hideaway at Three Castle Head is truly unique property situated at the head of a beautiful valley with not another house in sight and surrounded only by wild nature. The views from the cabin are breathtaking with Dunlough Castle in the near distance, the lake beside it and the wild Atlantic ocean stretching off to Beara Peninsula across the water. Photographs just don't capture the true majesty of the place.

The cabin is fitted and decorated to a very high standard giving you a sense of luxury and tranquillity which is hard to find anywhere else. The large windows give you an amazing sense of space and light which can be appreciated while relaxing on the large corner sofa or looking out through the nature spotting scope at the surrounding countryside. The stylish open plan kitchen boasts almost all of the items that you would need for a comfortable cooking and dining experience.

The comfortable king size bed adjoins a modern bright bathroom with a large shower area. The views of the valley and beyond can be enjoyed while just lying in bed; it the ultimate exhilarating way to wake up to see such a stunning vista at your very fingertips.
The wrap-around patio is the perfect place to hang out and unwind while just lying down on one of the outdoors chaise-longues and immersing yourself in the sheer beauty of the place. There is also an outside picnic table for dining al-fresco.
While only ten minutes away from the villages of Goleen and Crookhaven it truly feels like a world apart. The raw natural beauty of the location give you a sense of pure isolation and privacy that so hard to find these days yet civilisation is still just a short drive away. The beaches of Barleycove, Stoney Beach, Cockle Strand and Galley Cove are right down the road from here and you are five minutes from the iconic Mizen Head.

There is so much flora and fauna to see from the Hideaway Cabin. While hares, pheasants and foxes sometimes come right up beside the windows, while you're just sitting there, the telescope also allows you to get great views of passing whales and dolphins in the waters of Dunmanus Bay in front of you. It is the perfect place to witness rare birds flying in from their long migration journeys and to see the resident choughs, ravens and birds of prey swoop around.
