At night, invite friends over and visit on the back deck with a drink and tend to the BBQ and then move to the front deck for a quiet intimate dinner with friends surrounded by the towering pines and spruce trees
Enter the home on the first floor and there are two spacious bedrooms, including the Master. The master has a California King bed, built-in closets, a travertine bathroom and large shower as well as a TV and a dresser.
The guest bedroom has a Queen bed, a built-in closet, and a large bathroom with tub & shower.
Both bedrooms are on the creekside...Sleep with the windows open to hear the water run in the creek and enjoy the fresh air,
you'll probably oversleep, it's so peaceful!
The spacious laundry room with front loading washer and dryer are located on the first floor.
Walk up the stairs to the second floor and see beautiful views of the mountains, creek and trees and flowers everywhere. Decks on both sides of the living room giving lots of space, a large dining table with 6-8 chairs, a buffet, a bar with 3 barstools, a nice kitchen with stainless refrigerator with water dispenser inside, dishwasher, electric stove and oven, convection oven and nice sized pantry. There is a bathroom with a shower on this floor. The living room has a couch and a few comfy chairs, footstool, tables and plenty of room to sit around the fire, a 50 inch flatscreen tv mounted on the wall, with a stereo for ipod, iphone, cd's and DVD's.
Walk up to the 3rd level and find a spacious Queen bedroom with a dresser, desk and closet. Views of Baldy, the creek and plenty of privacy make this room very charming.
There is a single car garage and driveway parking as well. There are waders, shoes (9 & 11) to borrow. In the winter, try out the 2 pairs of snowshoes.
The YMCA, Big Wood River, Atkinson's Park, River Run Lodge, Bigwood Golf, Sun Valley Golf, Sun Valley Symphony, Ketchum center, Sun Valley Resort, Art Walk, all within 10 minutes of the house. If you walk to town, it talks 30 minutes via Warm Springs Golf Course. The Warm Springs Golf course is maintained but used primarily as a dog park, a great place to walk the pups.
In the winter, we are minutes from the Warm Springs lift. You can walk up the street to the free Kart bus, take a 3 minute ride to the base of Warm Springs, or, you can drive three minutes and park at the base. The skiing is world class, the snowmaking is some of the best in the country and the gondola at River Run (about 5 miles drive) is an option for those who like to stay warm on the way up and those who just want to dine up at the top during the snowy winter months. Winter activities are like an Alpine ski village in Austria. Fabulous dining, downhill and snowboarding, and an exquisite new Nordic center with Apres Ski you won't want to leave!
The furnishings and linens are all new and from Crate and Barrel, Restoration Hardware & Pottery Barn. There are lots of dishes, pans, glassware, spices, etc. Two coffeemakers, Senseo and Mr Coffee, wine openers, etc. There is a backpack for picnicking in the pantry and there are 8 folding picnic chairs in tote bags to take to the symphony or flyfishing , wherever. There are beach towels and picnic blankets. Laundry detergent, papertowels, tp, all provided.
DIRECTION INFO:The home is located 2.5 miles from River Run chair and .5 miles from Warm Springs chair. From the house to town, it is about 2.5 miles. There is a free bus at the top of the street on Warm Springs Road that is ONE stop to the Warm Springs lift. You can also take the free bus to River Run and back. Driving to town takes about 5-8 minutes, 35 Mph speed limit.
