Three of us recently returned from a stay at the above condo at the Evergreen Lodge. It was perfect for us, spacious, comfortable seating, well equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 3 queen sized beds, 3 TVs, mountain view. Adequate continental breakfast during the week. Fun bar for more action in the evening, managed by a KU Jayhawk, so I would expect nothing less! He's had good practice! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Good memories, and I highly recommend this unit/lodge.
The condo was roomy and clean. It was perfect for us and our two teenage granddaughters. They had their own room and bathroom, and my husband and I had our own space. The day we arrived it was hot and with no air conditioning the hallway, elevator, and condo was very warm, but we were able to open windows and get some cross ventilation in the condo that evening. The girls loved it here as we were within walking distance of both Lionshead and Vail, although the bus service was frequent and we did take that into Vail sometimes from the convenient bus stop at the library. The living room was spacious for the four of us, the kitchen also large enough for two, and the three TV's fit everyone's needs at night. We would definitely come back here, even if it is only us two "old folks". Our only glitch was the combination we were given to get in did not work. We called a number from our materials and spoke to the rental agent and got the new combo, as the office was closed when we got there at 5:30 pm. The only other concern was with the two screen doors that would not stay on the track when opened.
This is a very nice condo on the top floor. Nice furniture and comfprtable beds. A TV in the lvining room and also one inf the room with the two queen beds. The Evergreen building itself is a little dated, but the condo is great. Since it is on the top floor you don't hear anyone else around you. It could use a new screen door and a few fans for the summer, but all in all, a great place in a perfect location for walking both to the Village or Lionshead. Parking was easy. There is a sports bar in the place that is fine for a late night beverage. Great pool. The hot tub is one large pool with jets that only come out of the floor and no way to get fresh air inside. Would be great if you could open a window. This is a great choice for the "mountain" side of I-70 at a reasonable rate.
