STUNNING SECLUDED BIG SUR HOME — BREATHTAKING COASTLINE VIEWS

It is simply my favorite place in the world. We return as a group of 3 couples every year and each year when we leave we spend the next 365 days talking about our return, going over little details of the house and the property and discussing which lounging location we'd be enjoying at that moment -- the outdoor bed with the famous Big Sur vista view? The back deck overlooking the Ventana wilderness? A grassy knoll by the dipping pool perched on the tip of the property? The pristine redwood hot tub? Or debating which is the best bedroom -- the master with its ficus tree canopy and the famous views? The canyon view room with the claw foot tub, wood burning stove and incredible plants framing the windows? Or the welding room with the couch in front of the wood burning stove and the outdoor shower hanging over a cliff? There is not a more spectacular view in the world and the house that has been lovingly built and maintained is like a piece of art that stands up to the view and somehow manages to raise it up. Our group travels a lot, we've rented lots of houses (through VRBO and elsewhere) and we all agree w/out exception that there isn't any place we've stayed that comes close to Dolan Creek. It's really unique and personal but it feels like it is set up just for you. The owners could not be any nicer or more helpful. There is a ton to see and do in the area but we've only left once in our 5 visits b/c the minute you step foot off of the property you're ready to come back. So we come with food for the long weekend and cook in the well-appointed kitchen with a view of the ocean hundreds of feet below (that makes even doing dishes enjoyable). I would recommend this property to anyone who would listen once I can get past the fact that it doesn't magically appear once a year just for us -- it somehow feels like it does.
