Our family (6 adults, 1 child) traveled to Monterey to celebrate my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. We had an exceptional stay at the Franklin House. The bedrooms are divided among three levels so after spending family time together in the gorgeous living spaces (kitchen, den, living and dining rooms are beautiful and filled with natural light) we could all retreat to the bedrooms each on our own floor. The house was immaculate and the grounds are beautifully maintained. My mom repeatedly commented on how gorgeous the house was the entire weekend, she didn't want to leave.
Ana was extremely warm and accommodating. She provided us with directions and information about nearby grocery stores upon booking. When we arrived, we found she had prepared a lovely bottle of wine and very nice snacks to welcome us along with a framed message thanking us for staying and congratulating my parents on their anniversary. She paid us a short visit to give us more information and followed up with a detailed email about nearby restaurants.
All in all, our stay with truly exceptional. The location of Franklin House and the house itself can't be beat. My mom is already dreaming of another stay there.
