About The Owner

Alaska Dream Vacations is owned and operated by Ryan and Wendy Rice. Ryan is a lifelong Alaskan, avid hunter and fisherman.

The 4100 sq ft house is located on 2 acres nestled in the trees and rolling hills of the Kenai Peninsula. The property boasts magnificent mountain views, incredible hospitality, and is central to many tourist activities. The Kenai River is 5 miles away, in Soldotna and is home to the world famous King Salmon. Fishing is the key attraction however, there are many other exciting activities close by. Rafting, canoeing, and horseback riding are popular attractions in Cooper Landing just 30 miles north. Halibut fishing can be done in Ninilchik and Homer located 1 hour south. Hiking, mountain biking, and hunting and bear watching are located here as well.

Wildlife can be viewed right here on our property. Moose stop by almost daily. Bears, eagles, and a variety of other birds can be seen as well.

Our home is centrally located near all of the exciting attractions offered on the Kenai Peninsula like fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing, hiking, biking, horseback riding and more fishing! Shops and restaurants are close by as well. Our favorite feature of this property is the location. This home is nestled in the rolling hills of Ten Mar Ranch subdivision in a cul-de sac and overlooks the Alaska Range Mountains. It's a quiet, peaceful setting yet only 5 miles from all of the attractions in town.

What makes this house unique

We offer luxury accommodations, service, beds made daily and a continental breakfast. A unique service we provide for our guests is fish packaging. We will package, freeze, and ship fish at a reduced cost as a convenience for our guests. We also offer sack lunches.

This is a very nice place for the money. The hosts are friendly, rooms are well decorated, comfortable beds, and lots of extras (pool table, weight room, movie room, hot tub, breakfast!!!) The list keeps going on and on. They will even package your fish! I recommend it to anyone going to the Kenai Peninsula weather fishing or sight seeing, this is the best place I have ever stayed.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
