ADORABLE COWELL'S BEACH COTTAGE - PERFECTION BY THE SEA!

I booked this house for our family reunion and everyone was very happy with my selection! The house was very clean and had more than all the essentials in the kitchen. My mom for one, was impressed with the kitchen supplies!

The furniture was nice, clean and cozy. We enjoyed our meals in the nice backyard. The bbq however, obviously needed cleaning and would benefit from a makeover. The backyard furniture was very nice and comfortable for relaxing during the day and was nice and warm with the heater at night. We also used the hot tub; we had difficulty adjusting the temperature the second day, and the owner came over and fixed it after I called him. Adam was friendly and gave us a thorough tour of the house upon arrival.
My 5 year-old nice loved the loft, even though she didn't end up sleeping there.

My only surprise was to find a dark stain on the white sheets in one of the bedrooms, which tells me the owner might need to have a talk with the cleaners and make sure they dispose of sheets which have permanent stains. Everything else, as I mentioned, was very clean. My family wants to go back to the same house next year! It is literally one block from the ocean and a few more steps from the beach and boardwalk. This is truly the ideal location in lovely Santa Cruz!

Our family had a wonderful time at the cottages. It is perfectly located for walking to the main attractions (wharf, boardwalk, downtown and surfing) and it is off the beaten track so it was quiet. The property is clean and well maintained and the owner was very accessible. We will be back!

I had the pleasure of renting this place for a couple of nights while in town for a wedding and I cannot telly you how pleasantly surprised I was with everything.

The pictures and descriptions do not do this place justice. It is immaculately kept and you can tell that a lot of time and effort has been spent improving the house. Everyone in my group at one time or another exclaimed "I can't believe they rent this place out, it is way too nice." The owner of the house has excellent taste and has spared no expense on improving the house.

The owner of the property maintained contact to make sure we had a comfortable stay and knew how to use everything in the house.

I would absolutely stay again and after the experience I had at the house, my group is planning on making the trip back to Santa Cruz an annual trip. I have and would recommend this house to anyone looking in the area.
