NORTH LAGUNA SPECTACULAR OCEAN VIEW HOME-WALK TO BEACH & TOWN!

Our family of six (4 small children) enjoyed almost a full week at this rental property. The house was in great shape, and it was better than advertised. The location was also better than expected as it was a very short walk across the PCH to a secluded beach. The property has two stories, and a nice deck which makes it feel bigger than its actual square footage.

Originally, there was some confusion about the price on the property giving it was right before Easter. The owner was flexible with pricing, and gave me a discount from the full "holiday" rate. It turns out that after we agreed to a price, someone else offered him more days at the full holiday rate, but the owner agreed to honor his verbal agreement even though he gave up some money to stick with us. That said a lot to me. Given this was my first ever VRBO rental, I came away very encouraged.

The owner was also flexible in allowing me to pay via e-check even though he had to go through some hassles to get that process setup. That provided protection and convenience for me, which I also appreciated. The instructions from the owner were very detailed on how to use the TV and the internet, and everything went very smoothly. The property manager was also very helpful when he let us into the house.

This is a great place to stay, and I think the property manager and owner were great people to work with. In summary, my expectations were exceeded, and I'm grateful for the chance we had to stay at this house. I don't know if I can do the hotel experience with a small family again after being spoiled like this. The only complaint I have is that now my wife wants me to buy her a similar home...not going to happen!

Loved this house and the North Laguna location can't be beat....we could walk to town and to the grocery store. The house was immaculate and Michael the property manager was promptly available upon our arrival to open up the house and show us around. The walk to town was just about 1 mile but the coast walk along Cliff Drive made it fly by. The Vons grocery store with everything we needed was close by (7 blocks...10 min walk or less). Hiking in the hills above the house was wonderful and worth the effort to go up to see the fabulous views. There were 3 of us in the house...80, 50 and 20 years old....my teenager loved the top floor and the great TV, surround sound while my mother & I loved the top floor for the wonderful views at sunset and all day long....so sunny and pleasant. The kitchen was top of the line and very well equipped for cooking if you're so inclined. The listing was very accurate ....but I think the top floor, views, etc. are better than any photos can show. Master bedroom was very large, spacious with great bathroom and large walk in closet. Second bedroom was small but very comfortable and great beds, linens, etc. They even had the best beach chairs I've come across....could carry them as backpacks for the easy walk to the beach. Would definitely rent this house again.
