Individually and stylishly decorated with uncluttered elegance, all the bedrooms open out onto terraces with fabulous views over the bay of Sumartin and the Biokovo mountain range. Cushions, blinds and bedspreads are rich and textured, with silks and materials sourced from around the world. All the air-conditioned bedrooms have Egyptian cotton linens with opulent bathrooms and plenty of fluffy towels to pamper yourself with after a day in the sea or around the pool. The stylish kitchen has uninterrupted views over the bay and holds all the gadgets needed to make cooking and hosting a pleasure. The living room combines contemporary furniture, artwork and sculpture mixed with antique and vintage pieces from France and India.
Moving to the outside area of the property you will find the infinity pool with stunning views over its horizon edge to the turquoise bay and mountains beyond. Surrounding the swimming pool there are plenty of sun loungers for you to enjoy a lazy day in the sun.
Being a waterfront property, the villa is perfect for fishing fans who can relax and enjoy fishing from the jetty. The covered dining terrace has fabulous views of the mountain range in the evening making it the ideal spot to dine on the days catch.
The villa is ideally located for exploring the beaches and islands of the Dalmatian Coast. There are a few small beaches within the bay itself with many more in nearby coves. However no matter where you go you may be sure you will find perfectly transparent,clean unpolluted sea.
The Villa has a mooring for visiting boats and larger vessels can be anchored in the bay or in Sumartin harbour. A boat and skipper can be hired on a daily basis allowing guests to be transported to other islands and to experience a full range of water sports.
Accommodation
Entrance Level – The two master suits can be found off the main entrance hall. Both benefit from full height glass windows giving access to the stunning sea and mountain views. Blackout curtains open to let sunbeams flood the room with warm light. Opposite the bed, the TV screen is linked to the central satellite and DVD system. Both bedrooms have large private balconies
with their own daybed and seating area allowing guests to take breakfast or just to escape to their own private domain. The bathroom is a sublime exercise in understated opulence.
Middle Level – The living room and kitchen open on to an outside terrace area. Sliding glass doors allow the floor to become open plan, creating an alfresco living environment. There is the option of dining inside or outside under the covered terrace. A built in stone BBQ can be found at the side of the house, ideal for cooking local dishes of roast lamb on the spit or fresh fish.
Ground Floor – Two further en suit bedrooms with patio doors leading out on to the main terrace giving panoramic sea views. Both bedrooms can be used as twin or double rooms. One
bedroom can be used as a family room. A self contained gym with numerous pieces of equipment as well as a sauna and shower room can also be found on this level.
