You will see the water as soon as you walk out the door and at my corner you can walk along the waterfront promenade with GG bridge views in front of you - famous around the world. Wander down with coffee to look for seals or the catch sunset over Golden Gate Bridge. Grab coffee at nearby Starbucks or Ft Mason. Walk to Fisherman's wharf, bike across the bridge, or walk the beach at Crissy Field. A very special location.
Unit has beautiful hardwood floors, oriental rugs, designer decor with formal dining room, living room w/ fireplace and expansive kitchen for dedicated cooks. The very large master bedroom suite has a king-size bed with new master bath that includes double sinks, glassed in shower with rain head fixture, 6 ft tub for bubblebaths. French doors open from bedroom onto to an outdoor deck with bistro table and chaise lounge overlooking gardens below. Another 1/2 BA along hallway.
The marina is a fabulous, quiet, safe and fun neighborhood. See reviews - everyone loves it. Spotlessly maintained. Easy access to everything you want. Easy parking. Alcatraz, Ft. Mason (see pic below) are all around the corner.
Chestnut street is few blocks away where there are award winning restaurants, shops, coffee houses and wine bars. Be a part of this very chic neighborhood where only multi-million dollar homes surround you.
Groceries one block away and great farmer's market every Sunday at Ft. Mason -a 2 minute walk. Kitchen fully furnished with all utensils for you. I live in same building so if you need anything special you can ask,
The Marina is a foot friendly neighborhood. Walk or rent bikes to Golden Gate Bridge. Bus or taxi access only block away and takes you to all key areas with no bus change. No need for car, but parking on street is available and across the street at Marina if needed.

I love this home in its uniquely beautiful location and hope you will treat it like your own home when you are here. I have traveled around the world and can help you find wonderful things to do and see in this city. You will enjoy it I know! The truly is one of the best cities in the world.

It is the best neighborhood and location in all of San Francisco - it has the best access to fun tourist things, fabulous restaurants (including 5 stars) and chic shops, wine tasting, yacht clubs, biking and romantic seaside walks - it has the best of everything. I have been around the world and came back here to stay.
The waterfront is so close you will wander down to watch the beautiful sunsets over Golden Gate bridge and maybe see a seal or dolphin bobbing in the surf. Spectacular neighborhood and location especially with the yacht clubs and sailboats all around you.
If you are looking for a rental in the Marina look no further than Laura's on Webster. The location is perfect. It is on a quiet street that is a half block from the bay where to the West is the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge, to the South is Cow Hollow and Union street, to the North is the bay and to the East is Fisherman's Wharf and all within walking distance depending on the weather. There is so much just within walking distance not to mention the rest of this beautiful city. We used Uber a lot so we didn't need a rental car. We flew into SFO airport where we bought a 3 day "Muni Pass" and a Bart pass at the visitor information center inside the airport which was all we needed. We took Bart to the Embarcadero Station and then took Uber to the apartment.
Other reviews have described this apartment very well and I can only agree with what they said. I will add we will be back sooner than later and will definitely stay here. It has everything you could need and more. Laura is very helpful and only a text away.

I very much enjoyed my recent stay in the owner’s (Laura Thompson) unit on Webster Street in SF. The apartment itself is ideally suited for a single or a couple; its layout consists of a large bedroom, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a very comfortable and attractively furnished living room; the apartment’s décor with its Asian motif is very appealing. Its best feature in my mind, however, was its location in relation to the Marina and Cow Hollow. The former offered the opportunity for long walks, with the GG Bridge and the bay in prospect on the outbound leg and city views on the way back. Also, the unit was only blocks away from some truly great restaurants on Chestnut and Union Streets. On top of all this Laura is a great host, making herself available by phone or otherwise to deal with any issues that may arise. All things considered, my stay at Laura’s place was a treasured experience, one I hope to repeat.
This nice apartment is located in quiet and peaceful neighborhood, just a few steps from Marina and short walk to most attractions in the Pier 39 area. Very close to the Chestnut street where a large number of great restaurants are located. The owner was very helpful and easy to work with. The apartment was clean and very lovely. We would definitely recommend this place to stay in San Fran area.
My partner and I recently travelled to San Francisco for a 4 day jaunt. After much research we decided on Laura's apt - what a great find!
It is very, very close to the water/marina/restaurants/shopping.
The home is lovely! It is clean, central and well maintained.
Laura was there to greet us upon arrival and was very helpful with recommendations around the city.
We will definitely share this find with family and friends.
The only minor irritation was there was a group of 4 renting the apt above and we could hear them walking very heavily above our heads in the early morning and during the evening. We were very mindful of those residents in the apt beneath us and were a little disappointed we didn't receive the same respect from those above.
Nevertheless, we had a Terrific holiday and a wondrful stay.

This apartment is located in a great spot, walking distance from lovely cafes and restaurants in Chestnut St. It is also very close to the Bay and in a quiet spot. It was very comfortable and a treat to stay in with lovely kitchen bathroom and lovely furnishings. The king size bed was heavenly - so comfortable! If anything can go wrong, the rule is it happens when the owner is not around. We had a couple of problems that were out of the owner's control, but good steps were taken by the owner and she was very apologetic, so all was good in the end. I would stay in this property again
this is the first time we have used the vrbo service to book a vacation stay. the experience was wonderful! the property was everything it was advertised to be, and more. we also felt that it was worth the amount we paid. hotels in the area were similarly priced, but with the apartment we had plenty of room to entertain family and friends. the location was ideal, walking distance to everything we wanted to do. the property was also beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. I would recommend not only this particular home, but also the whole vrbo experience.
Great running, biking and walking paths along water (all flat), Farmer's market on Sundays, Groceries around the corner, 5 minutes to National Seashore Park, Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz, Ft Point, Ft Mason historic centers. Wine country is an hour and 15 min. away if you want to visit. Easy to catch cabs - no need for car.
