General Info:

Parking: 1 car parking - This unit provides 1 carport space in a shared carport.

Bedding: Blankets, mattress pads, bed spreads and pillows are provided!

Linens: Our properties do not come with bed linens or towels however should you not want to bring your own personal linens, we do provide the option to use our linen rental service. The cost is $150 for the length of your stay and includes a set of sheets for each bed, 10 bath towels, 8 hand towels, 8 wash cloths, and 4 beach towels. Please inform us as to whether or not you would like to use this service.

Kitchen/Supplies: Our kitchens are supplied with all the basic dishes, utensils and cookware needed for everyday cooking. We also stock some cleaning supplies and dry goods such as paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters, trash bags, foil, etc to help you begin your vacation however you will need to purchase and pay for additional supplies during your stay.

You may want to bring: Beach chairs/equipment, blender and/or specialty cookware, briquettes, laundry detergent, extra place settings, pens and paper, etc.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It fit my family and my brothers family comfortably. With the beach being less then 50 steps away it was nice to be able to walk back to make lunch or grad a snack. Bike rides every morning on the board walk was very nice as well. The location is close enough to the grocery store that you could walk or ride a bike. Unfortunately, We did have some personal items such as beach toys and towels disappear from the patio area so I would recommend bring in everything at night-------------------------------------------------.The only downside to this house was having someone upstairs The Kitchen table for upstairs seemed to be right over the kids bedroom. As the chairs moved they would make a very loud scratching noise that would wake us each and every time, which happened 4 out of the 7 night late into the night.

Perfect family getaway!

My family and I stayed at this gorgeous gem and had a wonderful time!

The house was comfortably furnished and decorated to feel like a home. The bedrooms were spacious enough for everyone to have their own space and feel comfortable. There was plenty of storage space for all the stuff we brought with us. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. Picture perfect like the photos provided.

The amenities met our every need, from the supplies in the kitchen to the beach chairs and bikes that we could use! There was cable, internet, and a DVD player for downtime in the house. And if there was anything else that we forgot to bring with us, we could get from a short walk to a nearby Pavillions.

To get to the beach, all we had to do was cross a little back street. It is a very family friendly beach with rock jetties for the kids to explore when they weren't swimming in the ocean or digging in the sand. We could see the beach from the patio and enjoyed our meals outdoors while looking out at the sand and surf. We enjoyed several walks down a few blocks to the boardwalk/pier for ice cream. There were also several restaurants and shops within walking distance.

I would definitely recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a summer getaway in Newport Beach! It promises lots of fun filled memories. We are looking forward to coming back and making more memories of our own!

Great Location, close to beachfront but not too close

I have had the wonderful opportunity to stay at both the upper and lower floors of this beach property almost every summer for the past several years (10+ years). It is great for a whole family getaway (and I have a BIG family) to Newport beach. It is also great as a base for a bunch of guys to go fishing at the pier or just hanging out at the beach.

The front patio of the lower unit has a great view of the beach and is perfect for an outdoor lunch or evening BBQ with quick access to the beach. It also provides a great lookout to easily grab additional street parking for friends or family who arrive later.

The location also offers close access to the Newport Pier and shops surrounding the pier just a short walk away, and quick access to walking or cycling paths where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean while walking/riding. The location also has the benefit of avoiding the heavy traffic right around the Newport Pier itself.

If you like fishing, this unit makes the perfect base to stow your gear and be ready to hit the pier at daybreak. My friends and I have spent days just relaxing on the pier while fishing, then ended the day grilling some very delicious freshly caught mackerel.

The beds themselves are comfortable and the bedrooms are pretty quiet. Since the surrounding units tend to be rental properties too, you occasionally have groups of teens or young adults partying into the night, however, we've never had any problems with noise and from bedrooms are set towards the back of the property where you do not hear any noise from the front of the street.

Owner takes good care of the unit and just recently renovated/remodelled everything. It is always very clean when we arrive (just be careful to wash off beach sand BEFORE entering the house). Also, the listing says one carport space, but it actually is more like one carport space PLUS one off-street parking spot since you can park a (small) car behind and perpendicular to the car in the carport.

I've stayed here several times over the years, although it has been a while since I've been back. The location is very nice, extremely close to the beach, and situated nearby many restaurants and stores. There are good jogging and bike lanes as well. The area is clean and quite family friendly.

The unit itself was quite spacious, easily accommodating my large family with plenty of room to spare. I could see this as a great budget location for a group of responsible college kids on summer vacation. There is a nice front patio area great for grilling or simply relaxing with a cool drink and people watching. The owners have renovated and improved on the facilities significantly since the last time I stayed, but I've heard from family that it is even better than before!

Great for family vacation

Been coming here for several years and never disappoints. This year was even better with the rental completely renovated. Especially like the new ceiling fans and comfortable beds. The living areas and bedrooms are of good size and there is also a big patio area to invite family and friends over for a day of partying.

Unit is just steps from the beach so you get the convenience but not all the boardwalk traffic and noise of a beachfront rental. We also like the beach at Newport because it is not overly crowded, as compared e.g. to Huntington.

Another real plus when you have avid gamers (as we have in our family) is the free WiFi and a flat screen TV/Blu-ray player in the living and master bedroom,

Location is also very convenient for food. Pavilions supermarket and many restaurants (fast-$ or classy-$$$$) are within walking distance.

A couple of night activities our family finds really enjoyable is to walk along the boardwalk to Newport pier to get ice cream, or do some night fishing (the pier closes at 12:00). Big plus is that you don't need a fishing license because it is a public fishing pier. If lucky, you may even catch sight of sea lions swimming around the pier, vying for the same fish.
