My husband and I are retired professionals (physician and economist) who spend most of our summers and fall on Martha's Vineyard. We rent only a few weeks each summer and enjoy our home the rest of the summer. This is our HOME not a rental property and we make it as comfortable as possible for ourselves, our friends and our renters.
Oyster Pond, one of the nicest Great Ponds on Martha's VIneyard is one of the best locations on Martha's VIneyard. There are few families who enjoy access to the Pond and beach...a short boat ride away. Both President Clinton and Obama used this beach when they were on MV. The Edgartown bike path is just at the end of Oyster Pond Road, so we are located perfectly to combine privacy and easy access to town, shopping and restaurants. Couldn't be better!
We especially like kayaking to the beach when we are not using our lovely pool. The pool has been designed to be as 'natural' as possible, set near a meadow with natural stones as its border.
