The shared 6-PERSON OUTDOOR HOT TUB & private FIRE pit patio will greatly enhance your stay and are truly unique to this cottage. Finishes such as river rock all glass shower, state of the art stainless steel appliances, top of the line furnishing, double sink bathroom, and granite slab counters throughout kitchen and baths, 4 large flat screen LCD TV's, (just to name a few) bring a beautiful elegance to this mountain getaway.

LOCATION: Situated on a quiet residential block of town, this property offers a wonderful warm and cozy retreat with stunning views of Mt Crested Butte, and is conveniently located 1 Block away from the free Mt Shuttle and the Rec Path to Mt CB. A few streets beyond offer endless biking, hiking, and X Country ski adventures. (see map) Great for kids is the brand new modern play-scape playground with climbing rock and picnic area, and the BMX dirt track for bicycles. All are only 1 1/2 blocks away. (see map)

Sleeping Arrangements: With 3 bedrooms (w 3 queens) plus a private loft accessible by stair latter (w 2 double luxury futons) and 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite)(1 with double sinks), there's plenty of room for the whole gang. The private loft has skylight views of Red Lady.

Chestnut Cottege is in a great location, and can accomodate up to 8 people. There are three very nice bedrooms, plus the loft, which requires climbing a steep ladder, so is OK for the young & fit. Very nicely equipped and decorated. Hottub and patio area in back is fantastic. Everything in the town of Crested Butte is accessible with a short walk. A bus can take you up the mountain. We enjoyed it!

We rented both cottages for the 4th of July weekend. Location is great and the backyard was outstanding for relaxing and cooking out. Inside, the cottage is well appointed and offers everything you need for a long or short stay. Highly recommended.

It was everything we expected and more. Great views, great location in town, and easy access to hiking, biking etc. The new hot tub and fire pit are a bonus for relaxing to watch the meteor showers during a summer visit. Would certainly come back!
