Peter & Joy Cutrone purchased this apartment in 2000
We have capitalized on Peter's years of experience as an innkeeper in New England and our shared love of travel to bring you a warm cottage experience in a quintessentially American setting, a Maine farm. With the comforts and conveniences of home, and access to a greater range of activities than you can even do combine to give you a vacation experience that you’ll treasure for years to come.
Moment's Peace Farm is that rare property where every visitor greets us at the door saying, 'What a beautiful setting.' It just has that New England charm, not the least owing to the beautiful restored 19th Century barn that greets you among the rolling hills as you enter the property. There is a lovely pond a leisurely stroll through the fields, beautiful woods, farm pastures, an organic garden, free-ranging chickens, and even a friendly Samoyed to greet you when you arrive. Relax and restore in your private suite, or nestle in with a good book on your private back deck, keeping one eye out for visiting wildlife. Then pop into Portland for the day to take in the museums or visit Casco Bay or the surrounding beaches. You can explore all you'd like, then enjoy a moment's peace at the end of the day.

One of our cottage guest's reviews: "The owners, Joy and Peter, were very responsive, though our contact with them was minimal because the cottage provided everything we needed. My only regret is that I didn't book the entire week... but we'll be back."
Moment’s Peace Farm is an 80-acre hobby farm as well as a residence. Tennis and golf are right up the road. The Saco River is easily accessible for some fine canoeing, whether flat water or white water, whichever you seek. There are small country stores and a range of restaurants nearby, from diners and pizza places to pub dining and Thai food. A full grocery store is within easy access. Three quaint libraries are also in our immediate area, as are many farms, as well as walking, skiing, equestrian, and snowmobile trails.
