One-Level House, 4 Bedrooms/3 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Do nothing, or everything, here!

Peaceful and private waterfront retreat, perfect for solos and families or other small groups alike. Enjoy the pristine Puget Sound shoreline without having wait in line for a ferry! Camano Island is just 75 minutes north of Seattle, and boasts two State Parks, numerous beaches and hiking trails, gorgeous views and vintage summer experiences. Roast marshmallows in the fire pit or on the beach, go crabbing and clamming when allowed, beachcomb, hunt for antiques in the many funky stores nearby, ride your bikes around the island, explore art galleries, and enjoy quality time with friends and family. How about a round of golf? Camaloch golf course is just minutes away. Or take a day trip to nearby LaConner, Anacortes or the tulip festival in Mt. Vernon. One of my favorite day trips is to the Fairhaven section of Bellingham, less than an hour north.

If you are looking for a party house, please look elsewhere!!

Large (2200 s.f.) one-level home with sweeping water views, large windows and lots of light. Wraparound deck and huge patio, with stairs to private beach. The home sits on a bluff point above the water, providing privacy and great views. Take the stairs down to our privately owned beach, or a short 5 minute walk to the beach using the road. Access to two other private beaches and picnic areas in the Country Club area. Enjoy coffee in the morning sun, and watch the Eagles that often perch in the trees right in front of you. Listen to the waves lap the shore while you read a good book or catch up with friends and family. Comfortable furniture and beds, everything you need to relax and enjoy. King size pillowtop bed in master, Queen in 2nd bedroom, King (two extra-long pillowtop twins side by side) in 3rd bedroom, and bunkbeds (w/crib mattress trundle) in 4th (kids') bedroom. Sleeps 6 adults and 2-3 kids very comfortably. The house is extremely kid friendly, with lots of great toys and space.

Hike the trails at Camano Island State Park on the south end of the island, kayak or crab at Utsalady Bay on the north end, or view eagles and great blue herons. Hummingbirds abound. Small county parks at Utsalady Bay and the nearby Cavalero Beach offer boaters convenient launch sites.

It really is the 'shortest distance to far away'!

My home-away-from-home is all about family and friends sharing a special time at the beach. The accessibility of this beautiful retreat and just the general peaceful feel of the place is why I bought here. No ferry lines!!

What makes this house unique

Gracie's Beach House is easy to get to and yet feels worlds away. I walk in the door and immediately relax. Even just one night is rejuvenating. Enjoy walks on the beach, cooking for friends, relaxing with a good book, going for a long walk, entertaining, and gazing at the view. There are so many beautiful places, neat shops and cozy spots to visit on Camano Island and nearby Stanwood. In the summer, I love to stargaze and enjoy the quiet and warmth of the night.

Art galleries abound on Camano Island! The Island is a great spot for birdwatching, and beachcombing for shells, seaglass and driftwood. group of elderly ladies away for a weekend of cards,conversation,food--floor plan was perfect,sleeping arrangement and abundance of towels and bedding, was great.... Well equipped kitchen and the view spectacular. the Sun room is amazing.
Owner's response to allow us to view property before our stay and her available cell number in case we had a problem was very beneficial for us...
for a group of grandmothers-the young children's play room was amazing

Great place! Lots of comfortable seating, beyond-lovely views, great floor plan- allows both together time and privacy as needed. In terms of furniture, linens, kitchen supplies (sharp knives, pots & pans) this home is much nicer than the average weekend rental. It is clear the property means a lot to the owner.

We loved our time we spent at Gracie's! The view is wonderful and you are so close to the beach! We had a great time hanging at the house, roasting marsh mellows, playing games and hanging on the beach! The house is great if you have kids! The playroom is wonderful, and the house is very spacious and has a great layout. Lots of movies & games to choose from too. Great place!!

I stayed here with my husband and 3 other couples over New Years for 4 nights. We found the place quite spacious, the bedrooms all had comfy beds, the kitchen was very well stocked. Plus the water and mountain views were absolutely fantastic. Great location with a nice sense of privacy and steps to the beach. Lovely deck & patio area that we didn't really use, as it was during the winter. Ample parking, easy to check in, easy to check out, with no fuss. Our little group have been renting homes for New Years for the last 14 years, and this one is in the top 3. Would highly recommend.
