Amazing deal on a great place...
This is probably one of the best values available for a studio type rental... anywhere.
The property was clean and tidy, the room well done and very spacious. We felt welcomed and right at home from the time we got there.
We liked the quiet feeling the privacy of the place gave us, yet the location is so convenient to everything.
The first thing we did when we got in was to walk around the pond. SO many birds, it was lovely. I got up first thing the next morning all by myself and wandered around the pond path. Fog was heavy and rolling - it was other-world almost to stand and watch the thick mist creep by. I've never seen a bird sanctuary with so much life in a privately owned setting... usually something like this would be at a nature preserve. It's impressive.
The owners were so easy to deal with and very accommodating... more so than was warranted and it was greatly appreciated. I was unaware of the entire circumstances of visiting family - Diana and Michael were extremely good about the unexpected changes and blessedly did not make me feel worse about it than I already did.
If it's available, rent this quiet little retreat! You won't regret it.
