We stayed in the Palm studio for a week during spring break and absolutely loved it! The unit is very clean and seems brand new. All of the appliances and accessories were high quality and not your typical rental items. The owner has thought of everything you could possibly need while on vacation and it was like staying in your own home. Our 2 kids LOVED sleeping in the loft area and I even slept up there a couple nights and it was really comfortable. We couldn't get enough of the amazing views from the porch and we spent our mornings drinking coffee out there as well as using it to play cards, have happy hour and just relax. The roll out sun screen was awesome in case it was too hot in the afternoon sun. The entry lobby has every kind of sand toy, pool and beach toy you need and it so convenient to have that right there. We made use of it all!
The security in Palmas Del Mar is so tight, it might be the only annoying thing, but we never felt unsafe for even a moment. You need to go through a guard gate to enter the resort, then use a remote to get through the gate your the Palmanova Village, then a key to enter the building, then a keyless code to get into both the lobby and your unit. Lots of steps and we were always forgetting a key, or a remote and having to go back and get something, but like I said, we felt incredibly safe here.
I would come back and recommend it to anyone. The owner was available anytime I called with questions. Great to deal with! We loved The Flying Pizza and Zona Grill in the plaza for restaurants too.
