We are located 15 minutes’ drive and 2000 feet above Colorado Springs in the mountain community of Cascade near the entrance to Pikes Peak highway. Cascade was established in 1886 and the town was named for the waterfalls in the area that “Cascade” down the side of Pikes Peak.
Many people love to get away from it all and just hang out by the mountain stream the runs through our back yard and relax and enjoy the mountain setting and the numerous wildlife that we share the area with which including deer, elk, black bear, foxes and raccoons all of which are known to cross our property.
If you like to hike there are numerous hiking trails through the Pikes Peak National Forest at our doorstep and in addition to the incredible hiking there are many other things to do just minutes from our home. Here are a few of the favorites:
Drive the Historic Pikes Peak Highway to the top of Pikes Peak we are just 5 minutes, 1.7 miles, from the entrance!
Enjoy Christmas year round at Santa’s Workshop in the North Pole where you can meet Santa and ride the many rides at this local Amusement Park also just 5 minutes, 1.6 miles away.
