This is a roomy, 4-bedroom Oceanfront home with great views of Saco Bay. Sit on the porch or in the living room and watch the sun rises or at night, the moon rises. Surf St. in front, is a road for foot traffic only. Home has to be accessed from Sunset Ave. This is in a nice quiet area with no traffic. Walk along Surf St. to Fairhaven/Eagle Ave. for beach access. Sit at the dining room table and eat breakfast, lunch or dinner overlooking the bay. Home has a large deck, cable TV, gas BBQ grille, washer/dryer, microwave, Wifi, etc. Has a fantastic wrap around porch facing the ocean with rocking chairs, hammock on the side porch and great views. There are 2 baths; 1st floor has a shower and is new; 2nd floor has a claw tub; one on each floor. There is also an enclosed outside shower. Home has all hardwood floors. BED SETUP: Bedroom 1, facing ocean has 1 King bed; Bedroom 2 facing ocean has 1 full bed and 1 twin; Bedroom 3 has 1 twin and a set of bunk beds (2 twin mattresses); Bedroom 4 has a bed that's a double on the bottom and a twin on the top. Home sleeps 11 in beds, 13 with futon in living room. Fish right off the road in front of the house at high tide or off the beach. All of this for only $3,800/wk. + tax. Off season half price. Pets are possible with approval.
Unobstructed Ocean views from Old Orchard to Biddeford. Located in a residential area, unspoiled by high rises. Great neighborhood, good for kids.
Sit on the front porch on the rocking chairs and be enchanted with beautiful ocean views. Look at the ocean when having breakfast, lunch or dinner. Be lazy and rock in the hammock on the porch.
Saco is at exit #36 on the Maine Turnpike and is half way between Kittery & Freeport for outlet shopping; 20 minutes to South Portland to a major mall and 20 minutes to Portland. There are also many shops along Rte. 1 for antique stuff between Wells & Scarborough. The Old Port in Portland is at the waterfront with shops, 25 minute ride. We’re about 1-1/2 hours or so from the Boston area.
Saco is 3 miles from the famous pier in Old Orchard, where they also have shops & amusements for the kids.
From Ferry Beach in Saco it’s a short walk to Camp Ellis where the Saco River meets the ocean. There is great fishing in both areas.
There is a bike path from this area to the Old Orchard line. This is a great central location and a community which caters to families, unspoiled by high rises.

At the Saco beaches, when you go to the beach and have to go back for lunch, etc., you will not need to bring your blanket or chairs back. No one will touch them when you’re gone. It’s that type of beach and areas catering to families and are great for little kids. Families return here year after year for vacations.
From either of the Saco beaches or the OOB beach, it’s about 5 miles to Funtown which is a theme park & water park; about 7 miles to the Aquaboggin, a water park; 5 miles to major supermarkets.
Another attraction is “bird watching”, especially at the Scarborough Marsh, which is about a 5-minute drive from Old Orchard & 10 minutes from Saco. Others nearby are the Saco Heath, Kennebunk Plains, Two-Lights in Scarborough (in the off season) &, Biddeford Pool to name a few.
Only a 3-minute ride by car to the Saco-Biddeford CC for public golfing.
Camp Ellis is walking distance where we have a mile-long jetty for fishing and docks where private and commercial fishing vessels are moored. Whale watching boat leaves from Camp Ellis. Para gliding & fishing charters operate out of the docks in Camp Ellis.
Nearby is the Camp Ellis General Store which features daily lobster catch during season & will cook to perfection while you wait or return to pick them up. They also serve breakfast. In Camp Ellis you can also buy lobsters directly from our friend & neighbor, the lobsterman Dean Coniaris, the 'Fish ‘n Optician'.
Deep-sea fishing boats leave from the docks in Camp Ellis. Kayak rentals are nearby for use on the Saco River, which goes out to the ocean at Saco Bay.
