From The Moment You Enter you will be surrounded by the spirit of Aloha. The first impression is from the large mirror in the dining area which reflects your initial glimpse of the Pacific Ocean and the island of Molokai. As you walk through the entry hall your eyes are drawn to the manicured grounds including tranquil koi ponds as you again soak up the beauty of the ocean view. You can envision yourself cooking in the gourmet kitchen with granite counters, new custom maple cabinetry, new stainless steel appliances, and then realize that this will be your home for the days to come.

There is an AM/FM/CD player WITH Iphone/Ipod dock and charging unit as well as two LCD flatscreen TVs with satelite TV, one in the living area and one located in the master bedroom. A amenity appreciated by our guests is a new BOSCH washer and dryer conveniently located in the entry way closet between the two bedrooms for our guests as well as free wireless interne

OUR HOME: Our home at J-102 of the Papakea resort means far more to us than just a rental. It is our second home that we have grown to love and appreciate. We have also tried to pay attention to every detail and hope that our guests will do the same. Our Papakea home was completely remodeled in 2009 including granite counter tops and new custom cabinetry in the kitchen and both bathrooms, natural stone accents in both bathrooms, stainless steel appliances, air-conditioning, designer fixtures, under counter and under toe lighting, a full size dishwasher and refrigerator with automatic ice maker, mirrored closets with loads of storage, tiled floors in the living areas, and plush carpet in the bedrooms.

ATTENTION TO EVERY DETAIL: We are very proud of our Maui home and want our guests to notice enough to feel the same way. We have made every attempt to pay attention to guest comments and to anticipate the needs of our guests. While the home was completely remodeled in 2009. We visit our Maui home at least twice per year and try to make upgrades each time we are there. New queen sleeper sofa, two flat screen TVs (new in 2012), bedspread in master bedroom, original artwork, washer and dryer, custom window treatments in living room and master bedroom, decorator accent pillows (all new in September of 2011). Split air conditioning system May 2013.

SHARE OUR HOME IN MAUI: We would love to share with you some of our local favorite places to see and favorite things to do (not to mention some of the greatest restaurants). You will receive this information by email once your reservation is received.

We feel confident we are offering one of the nicest condos at one of the best values.

North End of Kaanapali Beach in Village of Honokawai.

With 13 acres, the Papakea resort is the lowest density condominium project on the island. Grocery shopping is conveniently located directly across the street, and the charming town of Lahaina is only a short 10 minute drive. A few of the amenities on the property include 2 shuffleboards, 3 lighted tennis courts, 2 twelve hole putting greens, 2 pools, 2 whirlpool spas, 12 outdoor barbecue’s and 2 beach cabanas. There is plenty of room for the kids to play outside of this convenient ground floor unit, take a stroll from the lanai to see the beautiful Kio just feet away or relax with putting greens right outside your lanai door. If it is your desire to lounge on the sand or on the grass next to the ocean, you are only about 50 steps away!

Just returned from a 16 day stay in Papakea Resort in Maui. The unit is fantastic. We have 2 small children and this unit provided ample space for both kids to roam around with access right out the lanai to the path and the pool. It's a lovely unit with updated kitchens and bathrooms - the pictures are an accurate representation of the unit. The owners are extremely pleasant and accommodating. This is a great family friendly resort and I would highly recommend this unit.

Had a family trip to Maui - I booked my sister and her husband and two young children in this unit. I cannot describe how pleasant, accomodating and timely Kim was in responding to my questions, dealing with payment and ensuring we were all prepared for our trip. This was about as seamless a booking as I have ever had. When we arrived I checked out the unit and it was in fantastic shape, exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. We were very pleased and would strongly recommend this unit to our friends and family. Thank you Kim and Mary for allowing us to stay in your home, hopefully we can do it again sometime. Mahalo, Jake

Thanks for the opportunity to share your condo with us - we brought friends with us to enjoy Papakea Resort and the whales. Your unit was every thing that your pictures showed - more than enough room for two couples to enjoy. Very accommodating!

We plan on attending the 2013 Maui Invitational, but when we booked the condo we booked the condo a year ago, we had booked it for the wrong week. I emailed Mary regarding our error late one night this past week and to see if we could change the dates of our stay. She responded immediately to my late night email and made the changes. She also worked with us in tweaking the dates of our stay one more time, so that they matched our flights. Thank you Mary!

This condo at the Papakea resort was an excellent choice when we decided to vacation in Maui. The condo is exceptionally located close to everything Maui has to offer, yet just far enough from the touristy hotels. The condo is very clean, updated, well maintained, and has everything you need to enjoy a nice home-cooked dinner. Additionally, booking the place is very simple and seamless. We would definitely stay here again!
