About Sue and Jim
Jim, Sue and their two teenage children live in the metrowest Boston area. Jim is a software engineer, and Sue is an artist (you'll see some of her work at the beach house). Together, they have a deep interest in building community and love introducing people to the North Shore.
Sue and Jim purchased this house in 2012
Why Sue and Jim chose Gloucester and Annisquam
Sue grew up in south Florida and Jim grew up near the beach in California. Wingaersheek beach reminds us of the beaches we knew as children. We love that the Gloucester/Rockport area has a unique history as fishing and art communities. We're thrilled to share this peaceful, beautiful and interesting ocean side experience.
What makes this house unique
The first time we walked into this house we fell in love with the ocean view, which is unbelievably gorgeous -- unlike any we've ever seen in NE. The layout is made for friends and family to gather and the easy access to the beach means no lugging of gear -- just an easy back and forth flow from house to sea. And it's an hour or less from the Boston area!
