The apartment is in a newly converted building opposite the west front of York Minster. Access to the city walls is nearby and the station is only a five minute walk. Private parking is available.

No need to compromise on comfort: the property is furnished and equipped to a very high standard with high quality beds/bedding and underfloor heating throughout.

Master bedroom has a American King size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, second bedroom has a Twin bed (two 3' beds) and access to the (small) family bathroom with bath/shower. Twin can be made up as a King on request.

Great views of York Minster, as well as a gas fire, make the large living room a great place to curl up and relax. Kitchen has full range of AEG appliances including dishwasher.

Broadband WiFi throughout the property. Flat screen TV's with Virgin Media in both bedrooms and the living room (TiVo in living room). TEAC DAB Audio System with digital radio and wireless iPoD/iPhone/iPad interface so you can enjoy your music through the ceiling speakers in the living room.

Skype video conferencing and desk with printer and Polyspan conference phone making this a very productive work environment for anyone wanting to telecommute. Work in view of the Minster while your partner wanders the 'snickelways' of York and then meet at the famous Betty's cafe tea room for afternoon tea!

All linens and towels are provided and a concierge service is available.

The property can also be rented as serviced accommodation with a regular house keeping service. A laundry room is provided with separate washer/dryer.

Please note that single sex groups such as those attending stag/hen events are not welcome.

My wife and I are both professionals and currently live in the USA. I was a student at the University of York and we love the city. We have four boys and The Brierley is our second holiday rental in the UK and we hope to build on the success of our first property.

Brand new, stylish two bedroom apartment situated in the heart of York with amazing views of York Minster. The two well fitted bathrooms came in very handy. Large open plan living/dining area and fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need for a holiday stay or longer. Incredible range of appliances, utensils, cooking and eating facilities. The location is everything you could wish for – being so close to the Minster and seeing it from the sitting room light up at night was a real treat. It was like staying in a luxury hotel. Managed to visit Betty’s Team Rooms too many times for the waistline!

Organising keys and parking with the very helpful Kimberley (the concierge) was simplicity itself.
