Galveston House Rental Photos and Description
3 Bedrooms, 2 bath sleeps 6-10, with fabulous wetlands/bay view
'Sunset Nest' is known for its captivating 180 degree unobstructed views of the bay and the most breathtaking sunsets. Every evening you can gather your friends and family around the outdoor bar/entertainment area to enjoy the sunsets as a group or you can steal away to either of 2 balconies upstairs for a more intimate viewing.
We just bought this house in 2012 (we own 2 other vacation rental homes -- please check VRBO 104474 and 296255 to see feedback from our happy guests). We've enjoyed adding new furniture, appliances, dishes, linens and artwork, but have found the most stunning decoration to be the ever-changing water view out the windows -- visible from the main room and every bedroom!
There is a well-stocked kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances plus coffee-maker, toaster, blender, 2 sets of dishes, new set of high end pots and pans, and all necessary flatware and utensils.
Amenities include Wi-Fi and premium HDTV cable channels. The comfy living room has a 55' LCD TV with Blu-Ray home theater system There is a 30' flat screen TV in the master bedroom. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a queen size bed, and there is also a queen size sleeper in the living room and a full futon in the master bedroom suite.

About Bob or Jane Arbeitman
We own 2 other houses on Galveston's west end have been sharing our homes as vacation rentals since 2007
We first came to Galveston from our home in Austin, to escape Cedar Fever season, and have been coming back ever since at various times of year -- enjoying the wonderful people and 'island pace' of life.
Bob or Jane Arbeitman purchased this house in 2012
Why Bob or Jane Arbeitman chose Galveston
We love Jamaica Beach and the full-time residents, who combine small-town friendliness with big city sensibilities (many are Houston escapees -- weekend residents or retirees).
What makes this house unique
We first saw this house at sunset and fell in love. We noticed that everybody out walking or parking their car to look at the sunset view was in front of this cute house for sale -- it really does have the best view around!
After we bought it we fell in love with watching mullets skip a line across the saltwater marsh out front, and learning to identify the huge variety of birds outside our door. We also were staggered by the size of the fish that folks pulled out of the marsh in front of our house (again, if you look up and down the road you only see waders fishing right in front of our house!).
