Great hosts, excellent stay!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I booked the Argentina Apartment for 5 nights- we couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations and location! Because this was our first stay in Rome, we requested a driver be arranged for pick up at the airport. He was at the airport as promised and dropped us right at the door of the apartment. We were quickly greeted at the door and Susanna showed us around the apartment and gave us a map to help navigate the city. She was also very helpful with our questions.

The apartment was very clean and wonderfully located around the corner from convenient Campo Dei Fiori. With one lap around the neighborhood, we were able to locate plenty of shops, food market, and pharmacy. Of course the convenience of Campo restaurants was wonderful as well. The great thing about this neighborhood, it's walking distance to almost all of the key sites and if you're not up for walking, there is public transit available right at the curb. Before you depart the apartment, be sure to try the cafe downstairs and the corner gelato stand! A huge thanks to our helpful hosts for making this a delightful stay in Rome- we would absolutely recommend this apartment.

Great Location and very comfortable

  • 5 of 5

Our stay in Rome was very comfortable and busy. The apartment was near everything we wanted to see and was a wonderful place to rest after a busy day sightseeing. Chiara and Susanna made our visit to Rome so easy with booking the apartment, arranging a driver to pick us up at the airport and calling a taxi to take to the train station. We highly recommend the tours with Chiara. She is a very kind person who obviously loves what she does. Thank you to Chiara and Susanna for sharing Rome with us.

The apartment was exactly as described on VRBO. Very comfortable, close to terrific restaurants, and convenient to all of central Rome. Susanna the owner was very helpful. Nice to have an elevator for getting luggage to the apartment. Two restaurants, Da Sergio and La Quercia were very close by and excellent. Don't miss the Abbey Theatre Tavern close to Piazza Navona. Would recommend this property for any couple.

At Home in Rome

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was more than we expected. The sitting room was large and airy, the bed accommodated both of us in comfort, the kitchen overlooked a small courtyard and the "rooftops of Rome", there was plenty of closet space to unpack and store our bags for two weeks. The location was perfect: you could walk to just about anywhere, and if you tired of walking, you could get a bus practically outside our door. There were plenty of restaurants from which to choose.

And if you chose to eat in, there were markets and bakeries.

We would recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable place to put up their feet at the end of a day of sightseeing. And, we would love to return.

Susanna was the perfect host, and we truly felt

at home in Rome.

Great Location for seeing Rome

  • 5 of 5

We started our 5 week Italy trip with 8 days in Rome. The apartment was represented accurately. Great a/c! There were several flights of stairs to ascend each time we came "home". But that was not a problem for us. Chiara arranged a car to pick us up at the airport (50 euro as I recall). It was great to exit the airport and have someone take us directly to our door. The driver was very friendly and pointed out sites as we drove into the city. The apartment was well equipped, plenty of space for clothes, and a well equipped kitchen. I dont think we could have found a better location to see all the sites on foot. Some of the walks (to Vatican City and Borghese Gardens for example) were longer (apporx 35 min), but we could visit many sites within 10-15 minutes. We never used public transportation or a taxi until we left the apartment to go to the train station. But the bus and taxis were right there outside the apt if we had needed them. It was really a great location- central, but not in the middle of hords of tourists! Chiara was very helpful several times providing information or advice.

A peaceful oasis in frenetic Rome

  • 5 of 5

We spent 10 enjoyable days in this lovely apartment. Susana, the owner, met us upon arrival to welcome us. The location is probably the best in Rome - within walking distance of most everything one might need for a taste of life in frenetic and exciting Rome, and it was just minutes from a central hub for buses and the tram. The apartment was light, very spacious, tastefully appointed and a wonderful oasis of tranquility from the hustle and bustle of the streets of Rome!! We would definitely choose this as our home-away-from-home on our next visit to the eternal city!!
