No shoes, no shirt, no problem! “Las Ventanas at Red Snapper” is a duplex consisting of 2 units for a total of 5 bedrooms/3 full bathrooms. It is located less than a block from the serene and gorgeous sandy beaches of the Gulf. We welcome you to indulge in this tastefully decorated unit with modern interiors boasting a large private balcony area great for having meals or just taking a break. Each unit has all the amenities you would expect from your home away from home are offered, including stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, cookware, free Wi-Fi, and a washer/dryer. Need a little entertainment? In our spacious living area you can sit back and enjoy satellite TV and a DVD player.

Take a dip in the large private swimming pool located in the enclosed backyard.

After a day of fun in the sun, the upstairs unit comfortably sleeps 8 adults and the downstairs units sleeps 6 for a total of 14 persons. The upstairs master bedroom has a King size bed with a large closet, and private bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a dedicated closet space. The third bedroom is adjacent to the 2nd bedroom and has twin bunk beds perfect little ones. The 3rd bedroom also has a closet space. We also provide queen size inflatable mattress to accommodate extra guest.

The downstairs master bedroom has a queen size bed with closet. The second bedroom has a full/twin size bed with closet space. There is one large bathroom with access from the master bedroom and hallway. We also provide queen size inflatable mattress to accommodate extra guest.

If you’d like to take a break from cooking or just want a fun hang-out, there are several local pubs and eateries within walking distance including Boomerang Billy's Beach Bar and Grill and Amberjacks.

For your convenience, the Blue Marlin grocery store is just around the corner and is well stocked for your grocery and any other provisional needs. Getting around is easy with “The Wave”, SPI’s free shuttle service.

Our family is from the Valley so it was only natural for us to purchase a place of our own in South Padre Island.

Las Ventanas is our home away from home. My family enjoys coming to the Island to relax and have a good time. When we can't make it to the Duplex, we love renting it out to people who also want to enjoy all that South Padre Island has to offer.

The South Padre Island is a great place to enjoy the brown sugar beaches and beautiful turquoise water. Our place has the amenities and seclusion for a great vacation. Its also fun to enjoy the many activities in near by Brownsville and Harlingen.

Perfect Vacation Home! We rented both downstairs and up stairs. Living spaces were very clean. Close to shopping (blue marline), beach. Pool was perfect. Luis (owner) was very helpful with any questions we had. Furniture was worn but Great vacation home!

WE HAD A BLAST!!!

This year we had the opportunity to take a family vacation for the first time and I would like to share how you played a part in this event. My family had a Blast staying in your two story house 6/17/2014 through 6/23/2014. The house has a warm and welcoming touch to it which makes the stay a very pleasant one. Upon arrival we found the house well furnished, well decorated, CLEAN and READY for us to move right in. The house had plenty of available space for our family. All of the items in the house were serviceable with no issues. The pool area was clean and well set up as well. We liked the fact that the back door leading to the pool had a door bell, letting you know someone was opening that door. Our youngest child was 4 years old and we had no issues the entire time we were there. We loved the centralized location, everything was just a walk away; The Beach, Souvenir shops, Grocery store, Great fireworks view from the Balcony, go carts, mini golf, and local Bars. Outstanding overall I would definitely recommend the house for other families as well. We are already making plans to return next year!!!

My family and I enjoyed are stay at the house and loved the proximity to the beach and grocery store. The only negative items about our stay were the very early truck deliveries to the adjacent grocery store that woke everyone up around 6am. When we arrived the pool and back porch areas were extremely dirty from the previous rental guests. The pool cleaner guy showed up on Monday and made the pool as good as new. My family and I tag teamed and cleaned up the back porch concrete and pool deck with the hose from the side of the house. There was also debris on the floor from the previous renters that we had to clean up as well. All in all, it was a nice stay, I think we stayed during a time of limbo between renters due to the fact that we showed up on a Sunday.

Owner's Response: I appreciate the feedback. Many guest like the approximate of the property to the grocery store. At times, the noise level may interrupt some.

GREAT TIMES AT SOUTH PADRE

The duplex was great. Very clean and updated. The pool and back patio area was also fantastic. I knew it looked good, but it was even better than expected especially for such a good price. Just a short walk to the beach and several bars and nice places to eat. So happy that we chose this place over a hotel or more expensive condo.

My only small complaints were just that a couple of the mattresses weren't all that comfortable, and the wi-fi kind of quit on us a couple times. But these were just small details.

Overall our group had a great experience, and we may well look to come back next year.

PERFECT VACATION RENTAL

This was the perfect rental house for our vacation! Plenty of room for our family, with all the amenities of home. The units were clean and well maintained! This property was located within walking distance to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Appreciated the privacy of this house vs a hotel during spring break week :) We would definitely recommend this rental property to anyone looking for a rental property in South Padre Island!!! We would also recommend the Sea Ranch Restaurant while visiting SPI!
