Welcome to our beautiful Hawaiian Home! At just under 1,500 square feet our condo is situated in the beautiful, immaculate garden setting of Keauhou Punahele. This luxurious 3rd floor end unit enjoys beautiful ocean and mauka (mountain) breezes and has fabulous panoramic ocean and golf course views from the kitchen, dining and living rooms, lanai and also from the master bedroom.
This 3 bedroom (including the loft area), 3 bath unit overlooks the pool area of the complex as well as the seventh and eighth fairways of the Kona Country Club Ocean Golf Course. Enjoy waking up to beautiful sunrises as the sun lights the golf course, the manicured grounds and surrounding area. Enjoy spectacular sunsets while you barbecue on your private lanai (one of the few condo complexes that allow barbecuing on your lanai!), or just relax and soak in the hot tub (again one of the few condos that features a spa).
This condominium was completely renovated in 2011. It has new tile on the entire lower level floor, new carpet in the loft, a completely new custom kitchen with eating bar, new stainless steel appliances and granite countertops throughout, all new master and main level bathrooms, new furniture in the living room, master bedroom and lanai, a new walk-in tiled master shower, new linens, etc. The pictures don’t lie – this place will take your breath away. All bedrooms, living areas and the lanai have new ceiling fans. This open 3rd floor plan with its high cathedral ceilings provides an airy ambience. Truly relax in our condo with the spaciousness and beauty of your own home.
The master bedroom features a beautiful king-size four poster teak bed. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed. Both main level bedrooms have commanding views of the mauka (mountains). The open loft has one queen size bed and two fold down futon beds, big enough for 2 children or one adult each. Two families can vacation together with up to 6 kids up in the loft with their own bathroom and shower!
The condominium is away from the noise of the crowds but still only a 10 minute drive to Kona Town center. It is within easy walking distance to Keauhou Bay where most island tours, sailing, and kayaking begin. Also within walking distance of the Kona Golf and Country Club clubhouse. The Keauhou Shopping Center nearby has a supermarket, drug store, several restaurants, a post office, seven-screen movie theatre, and much more. Several walking/jogging/cycling pathways lead from the condo to start a fresh and fit day. 3 Night mininum stay/10 during Ironman & Christmas. This is a non-smoking unit.

We traveled to Hawaii ( Kona ) the week before Easter and stayed for Easter week as well. A very pleasant space to walk into and mellow out in. The ceilings are all high beamed and contain large remote controlled fans. There were also fans outside on the large lanai where we enjoyed most of our meals. These fans and opening the windows, closing the blinds, maintained a comfortable temperature. The view from there over the landscaped grounds leading the eye to the ocean was spectacular. The sunset beckoned each night - spectacular! The condo had everything / appliance, tool and wrap / container wise for meal prep and also takeaway beach days. The condo was easy to find given Wayne and Gail's attention to providing detailed instructions for arrival, activities on island and departure, and is well situated for visiting nearby beaches, shopping areas, the coffee farms and the south end. It is very close to The Sheraton Kona where we found not only two interpretive programs and a Wednesday Farmers' Market, but also the local canoeing club just around the corner. They welcome visitors for a small donation on 12 person outriggers three times a week. Excellent instruction! We can certainly recommend this condo and look forward to visiting again.
Gorgeous town home, luxury furnishings, fully stocked kitchen, lush beds, huge covered lani with barbecue and ocean view, laundry room. Stayed 8 marvelous days. The owner's did not overlook one detail of making this a heavenly paradise for rest and relaxation or adventure (boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, coolers, beach chairs) provided. My personal favorite was waking each morning hearing the birds sing the song of Hawaii.....truly amazing and can't wait to come back to my "home away from home"....thank-you Wayne and Gail....til next vacation Alohoa
This condo was spotless and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. I traveled with my husband, my mother and aunt. The condo had plenty of room for the four of us. The neighbors were quiet and friendly. The condo quickly cools down if you open the windows in the evening and turn on the fans. The view is beautiful, the master bedroom is spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed using the snorkel gear, boogie board, cooler and beach towels, etc. My only warning is to those of you who are light sleepers; it will take a couple days to get used to the traffic noise and birds in the morning (the birds eventually drown out the noise of everything else, pleasantly reminding you that you are in a tropical region). The owner, Wayne, kindly provided extra ear plugs in the nightstand. Given that there is so much to see and explore on the Big Island, I found myself so tired at the end of each day I mostly slept through the noise after the first two nights.
I highly recommend staying in this condo. The description is accurate, the price is more than reasonable and the customer service was excellent.
Wayne checked in with us during our trip to make sure everything was going well. He also provided recommendations for activities and restaurants. The location was just a short drive to the Kona Farmer’s Market and the shops and restaurants along Ali’i Drive. We mostly cooked our own meals at the condo but did enjoy Killer Tacos and Lava Java. The City of Refuge (Puuhonua O Honaunau National Historic Park) was a short drive and absolutely beautiful. The Volcanoes National Park was a 2-hours drive and made a great day trip. When we weren’t out and about exploring the Big Island, we were relaxing on the lanai, enjoying the view. Thank you Wayne and Gail for allowing us to stay in your condo. This was our first time in Hawaii and our first time renting a condo though Home Away and we had a wonderful experience with both!
My sister and I (both in our 60's) stayed in this condo for 10 days in October, and it was wonderful. It is as shown in photos, only better. When you walk in the door, the condo feels open and spacious, unlike most of the other places I have stayed which are long and narrow. The appliances, beds, furniture, kitchen cabinets and all that comes in the kitchen are all very high quality. The lanai is wonderfully furnished, including a grill and very comfortable couch and chairs.
We love the convenient location of this condo - with a fantastic snorkel beach 2 minutes away, a shopping center even closer, easy access to the main highway north and south. There are great Farmer's Markets close-by. We enjoyed walking down to Keauhou Bay and the Sheraton Resort.
We very much appreciated that there were many condiments, soap for the dishwasher and laundry - basically everything we needed was there. We also very much appreciated the land-line phone in the condo, and free long distance.
Wayne was very responsive - when I emailed with a couple of questions, he replied the same day. He was very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend the condo, and would love to come back. Thank you Wayne!
This condo is in a nice area and was easy to get to. The owners are very helpful as well, and the pool was quite lovely. We stayed here for 10 days prior to heading to Maui for our wedding, and we enjoyed it very much. We were there when the hurricane hit Hilo, and were very disappointed that they shut the pool area down for 3 days. We felt that it was an unnecessary step when the skies were beautiful with not a cloud in sight, and there was no apparent reason for the closure - so we felt we missed out on that, but the condo was very lovely to stay in for those days we were "stuck inside".
The lanai is the best I've seen in my travels through Hawaii and we spent most of our time sitting out there. We stayed here with my parents as well and there was enough space for the 4 of us. We felt there could be more towels stocked in the condo, and we were not able to find the cooler (we later found it beside the washer/dryer) - but by then we had purchased a larger cooler which we left behind for other guests to enjoy.
All in all, it was a wonderful trip and a great condo. They were also very prompt with providing our deposit back. We would stay here again the next time we head out to the Big Island.
We spent 6 days in this beautiful condo. It perfectly fit the needs of our party of up to 7 ( 5 adults and 2 kids) with plenty of room for everybody. The condo is very comfortable with a beautiful view, the lanai is a place where you want to stay and relax with a coffee or cocktail depending on the time. The kids loved the pool and would have spent their whole time there. We did explore the Kona area and enjoyed our visits very much. We also drove to the volcano which is really a must see but it is quite a long ride from the Kona side. I highly recommend this condo for anyone who want to explore the Kona area while staying in a comfortable and relaxing place.

Rent per night from Dec 15th - Jan 7th (2016) is $185/night
From Jan 8th - March 31st is $165/night
From April 1 - December 14th excluding Ironman Week, is $145/night
During Ironman Week rent is $199/night.
10 night minimum reservation required during Christmas season and 7 night during Ironman week.
Added rental fee of $20/night, for each additional adult guest over 4 in party
