The spacious open plan living room area hosts a couch that converts into a double sofa bed for additional guess, as well as an extra guest bed. Un parfait pied-à-terre

L'appart est comme sur les photos : bien décoré, bien équipé et surtout bien situé, dans un quartier vivant, plein de magasins et de restos sympas, desservi par les transports en commun et notamment un métro à 5 mn à pied. Pour autant, il est bien insonorisé et on entend très peu la rue quand les fenêtres sont fermées. Seul point négatif à nos yeux : le clic-clac un peu fatigué. Le lit double, lui, est super-confortable. L'équipe aussi est agréable et arrangeante. Nous y retournerons sans problème.

Upper Street apartment in Islington.

It was a little hard for our driver to find the apartment, but after three passes, he figured it out. It is a bit of a struggle getting the suitcases up three flights of stairs with some pretty sharp corners. The apartment is small--I don't see how five adults could sleep there short of sleeping on the floor. The kitchen is sufficient and stocked with plates, pans, and silverware. Complementary coffee for the coffee maker was provided. Make sure you have the handle tight on the coffeemaker or you will have a mess. Complementary high speed internet is provided which is a good thing since without it, I don't know if we would have ever figured out how to operate the IKEA microwave. The furnishings were quite nice and clean. Bathroom was modern, but watch the towel heater or you will get burned when sitting on "the Throne." Hot water heat kept the apartment toasty warm in December. No air conditioning for the summer months though.

Considering how busy the street is out front, the apartment is quiet. Lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance and the Angel tube station was just down the street. The double decker buses stop right out front too. Public transportation in London is awesome.

Making arrangements for the rental went smoothly. Communication with Paulo could not have been better.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback and 5-star review. Our period units are all well kept and we offer bigger and cosier ones for everyone's needs and preferences, and budget. For clarity, no apartments or private houses have Air Conditioning in London (or England), we offer central heating, for comfort in winter and most of the year it's cold here. There is no need for AC, and neither is it offered anywhere. We have one week of hot summer every year, if we are lucky. Please note that we offer a complete instruction manual for all appliances, washing machine, micro-wave. I have now included pictures in the manual for non-English natives convenience. Always improving with all feedback to serve my guests better.

My family and I have enjoyed a pleasant stay in London which has helped us to have an apartment like this. It is comfortable enough to relax after a long day visiting London. It is fully equipped to prepare breakfast or dinner. It has good heating and it is very clean. It is as advertised on the website. when we come back to London we´ll come back to the apartment.

Well located flat in a bustling area of London

Well equipped flat in a pleasant area of London. A little bit noisy because situated on the main road and when it is hot and you have to open the windows. Very helpful and friendly owner. Great newly fitted bathroom.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback Valerie. London can be a bit noisy when windows are open in summertime- subjective to each person. This is no more than any other city really. I like to travel myself. Please note that the bedrooms in our apartment are located at the back/rear of the property away from the main road. Maybe guests sleeping on the living room might hear a bit or noise from the road (when windows are open). We indeed recommend our 1 bedroom apartments for an ideal number of 2-3 guests (but also allow up to 4 guests if a family wants to stay for a short period). We also offer bigger 2 bedroom units in London. Thanks for your review and recommendations. I will be glad to welcome you back to London anytime soon.
