This 1100 sq. ft. NEWLY & FULLY RENOVATED (completed Jan. 2013), 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths contemporary-styled apartment is located at the heart of the slopes on Telegraph Hill. It is located between the Coit Tower and the Transamerica Pyramid Building which are just a few walking blocks away.
On a clear day, take the walking route and avoid the limited parking at the Coit Tower by taking the Filbert steps at Montgomery. Along the route, you will be engaged with beautiful foliage in spectacular gardens, art deco homes and wonderful views of San Francisco. The famous steps are also home to the wild parrots which were featured in a 2005 documentary, 'The Wild Parrots on Telegraph Hill'.
A block above Telegraph Hill is North Beach (a.k.a. Little Italy). Here you will be adorned with cafes, restaurants, plentiful shopping and nightlife. Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, the Ferry Building, Washington Square, the Embarcadero, the Financial District, Union Square,Downtown, the SOMA district and the Moscone Center are all an easy downhill walks. If walking is not your forte, the location is conveniently near bus lines, street cars and cable cars.

There is no assigned parking at this property but limited (2) hour street parking is available. This location promises to save money on parking expenses as the major SF sites and business areas are walking distance away. If public transportation and paid parking garages are preferred, they are within walking distance away.
A deposit of $400.00 is required to hold your reservation. We
must receive payment by eCheck or credit card for the deposit within (3) days of initial booking. Once deposit is received, your dates are officially reserved.
The balance of the rental payment is due (21) days prior to check-in. The booking will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited if payment of balance is not received.
Upon your arrival, the $400.00 deposit converts to a damage deposit. If the following provisions are met, your deposit will be back to your account within three to seven days of your departure.
If you cancel MORE than 21 days before check-in, your deposit will be returned less $50.00 fee.
If you cancel LESS than 21 days before check-in, ONLY your security deposit will be returned to you ($400.00).
If cancellation occurs on your first day, there will be NO refunds for any reason.
No credit will be given for shortened stays due to late arrival or early departure for any reason.
No cancellations or refunds will be due to you because of weather-related issues, earthquakes or related outages of utility services including: electricity, phone, internet, Wi-Fi, television, or gas.
Upon receiving your security deposit and Rental Agreement, a rental confirmation and payment receipt will be sent to you.
Once we receive full payment for your reservation, we will send you confirmation of your reservation.
As owners, the Tom Family have been a resident of this Edwardian home in S.F. since 1963. When the children started their own families, the 3-story home was converted to 3 apartment flats. The Tom Family takes pride in their building and therefore you can be assured that the quality will be there. They are proud to share to their customers, this spotless and comfortable apartment located in a quiet and safe neighborhood.

This property is in a prime location nearby many famous San Francisco landmarks, attractions and neighborhoods. There are an abundance of restaurants and shopping, sightseeing areas and nightlife within walking distance of this location. The Walk Score website rated the neighborhood a very high score of 97 out of 100 for the close proximity to many areas of interest. Public transportation, street cars and cable cars are also nearby.
First of all, the property speaks for itself! It's comfortable, beautifully designed, immaculate and is in a prime location.The Tom Family also believes in and provides great customer service and satisfaction. It just doesn't stop at booking your vacation or business travel. During your stay, the hospitality will continue throughout until you safely return to your home. If you need recommendations on attractions, restaurants or anything that may be of interest to you, just ask. If you have a special request(s), it will be given the utmost consideration.
Thank you so much for our wonderful stay in San Fransisco we could not have asked for a better apartment modern and clean everything you could ask for and lovely and quiet. We loved being able to walk to dinner and loved having morning coffee at cafe Trieste. We would love to stay here again
We rented this property for 4 nights, but wished we could have stayed longer. We had 2 adults and 3 children. It is conveniently located 4-5 blocks uphill from the Exploratorium and a 10-15 min walk to the Ferry Building. The place is well furnished, fully renovated, and exceptionally clean. It is very spacious and pretty quiet, especially the bedrooms which are located in the back, away from the street. The beds are comfortable and the main walk-in shower is great. We will definitely consider renting here again.
Things to consider:
1. No parking available. We had a car since we like to explore the greater Bay area and have friends to visit in nearby cities. There are several lots/garages nearby which we used, the best was probably at 955 Sansome ($20 overnight), but it seemed to carry limited hours on the weekend. Street parking is tough to find, but you can save some $. Just keep an eye on the restrictions posted. We parked one night on the street (Sansome and Green) when the above garage was closed and unfortuntately someone broke the rear passenger window to look in trunk (we had nothing in the car). Just took an hour to swap to a new rental car.
2. The property is just up the street from bars and adult venues on Broadway. No real noise or problems, but just be aware if you happen to be walking past that area with kids, especially on the weekend.
This house is in the perfect location. You cannot beat being four blocks from the water/embarcadero and walking distance to tons of restaurants & parks. My family loved staying on Telegraph Hill. The house is very clean and updated with all the amenities any family could need. The owner is so pleasant to work with and even allowed us to drop our bags off early so we didn’t have to tote them around town to lunch with us. Overall we loved our stay at the Telegraph Hill Flat.
I think that this may be the very first time I have ever written a review for any place anywhere (shame on me). It would not be fair to remain silent on what I believe may be the best VRBO/Home Away experience that our family has had.
The place is as better than described. Clean, clean & clean. well stocked. Comfortable beds. My wife and I, our 17 year old son and 14 year old daughter had plenty of room and privacy when we wanted. After spending a week touring all over San Francisco, my wife and I decided that there could not be a better location to have stayed.

When we opened the front door of our rental property on Telegraph Hill, we knew we had arrived to our "Home Away" from home! The apartment was clean, organized, finely appointed, and very comfortable. Furthermore, the apartment was in a perfect location for exploring the city and for enjoying the wonderful neighborhood close by. We recommend cafe lattes and pastries at Cafe Grecco on Columbus Avenue - just a short walk down the hill.
I am a "tough" customer but my expectations and those of my family were not only met but were far exceeded! We are a family of 4 and found the apartment to be spacious and comfortable - we all had our own space when we needed it. We chose to stay in every night (after long busy days exploring) with delicious take out food because we so enjoyed spending time in the apartment. Margie went over and above to make our stay comfortable and convenient and even allowed us to arrive early and stay late to accomodate our flights from and to the East Coast.
We have already recommended this property to several people and will deifinitely re-book when we travel to San Francisco again.
This flat was perfect for our family. My husband and I, along with my two teenage sons and my mother were very comfortable during our stay in San Francisco. We were able to walk to all of the tourist attractions such as Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Coit Tower and many more. The neighborhood was quiet and the flat was well appointed, nicely remodeled and very clean. I would definitely stay here again. My entire family was very pleased with this flat!
I just returned home from a San Francisco trip with two co-workers. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful our stay was here. We are all in real estate, and I can attest that the owner put a lot of thought and care into renovating this unit. The finishes are all high end with designer colors, the amenities rival those at a resort (THAT RAIN SHOWER!), and the appliances are top-notch. Further, the management company has taken all the stress and questioning out of your stay here. Everything is labeled for ease of use and identification, and pretty much anything you might need is stocked in the flat (including washer and dryer!) The check in-check out procedures were a breeze. Linens and beds were super comfortable, and there were plenty of towels for all three of us for our 4 night stay. The whole place was pristine and sparkly clean when we arrived, too.
AND THE LOCATION. I was shocked at how walkable our trip ended up being--- we got to Union Square, Chinatown, Little Italy, Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, and Ghiradelli Square & the Buena Vista all on foot-- the only time we used Uber was on an exhausted post-Saulsalito trip late in the evening, though we could have walked back from the ferry. The Filbert steps are a little challenging if you are out of shape, as are the ones on Vellejo, but I work out regularly, so I was able to carry groceries up the hill. Totally manageable.
In short, stay here. The photos almost don't do the place justice, and I dare you to have a bad time in San Fran. I don't think such a thing exists.
