I manage several properties in Tuscany, both downtown and deep in the beautiful Tuscan country-side.
Roberto purchased this apartment in 1994
The location and set up of this apartment are perfect for anyone wishing to live downtown and enjoy all that Florence has to offer. Downtown Florence is thriving.
We had a wonderful (but too short) stay in this lovely apartment in Florence. The apartment is roomy and comfortable, spotless with nice linens. We loved the modern, yet charming kitchen (equipped with washer/dryer) and appreciated the clear instructions for all of the appliances. As others have said, the apartment is ideally located and within easy walking distance of all of the sights in Florence. Communication with Roberto was excellent. We would love to stay here again and would highly recommend the apartment to any of our friends and family who are lucky enough to visit this amazing city.
This was our favorite apartment in Italy! Roberto kept in contact with us, and was there to greet us and helped lug our very heavy bags up the stairs, he explained everything in great detail and left a list of helpful suggestions on the table. He even check in with us to see if we needed anything or help getting off to the train station on our last day. The apartment was perfect! anything you could need was provided, there is a little market just around the corner to shop at, and a couple of very good restaurants to eat at close by, the location was secure and we always felt safe even walking back after dark, It is close to the Arno river which is very romantic to walk down. From this location we walked all over Florence and saw everything that Florence has to offer, if I ever get back to Florence I would definitely stay here again if possible Thank You Roberto for making our visit to Florence a very happy and memorable trip!
Stop your search and book this wonderful apartment! As long as stairs are not an issue, then this is the place for you. 4th floor walkup, but not a problem for most. We used the entire apartment and it was well appointed with everything we needed. Learn how to use a french press for coffee before you come, I love them, but may be "foreign" to others. Roberto greeted us and was very responsive before and during our stay. Will highly recommend family and friends to stay here, you should too!
This apartment was perfect for our week-long stay in Florence. It was centrally located and still quiet at night, fully equipped with anything we could have wanted and Roberto was extremely helpful with any questions we had. The washer/dryer was a lifesaver! The description and pictures were accurate, and the property was clean and well maintained. We would absolutely book this apartment again!
The apartment worked out very well for our five night stay in Florence. The location was great, as it was close to the train station and the tourist areas but far enough away from the hordes of tourists to be quiet at night and in the mornings. The entire building was quiet, in fact, we never saw or heard any of the neighbours the entire time we were there. We walked everywhere from the apartment, with no need for taxis. The apartment is quite large and spacious, with a kitchen, large dining area, living room and bedroom with a comfy bed and nice linens. The apartment was clean and well appointed with everything you need. Roberto was a wonderful host. He was there waiting to greet us and show us around the apartment, and had some suggestions for restaurants. He even checked in via email a few days later, to see if we needed anything. He was always very quick to reply to our questions via email, in a very courteous and helpful manner.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone, except perhaps those with mobility issues, as there are stairs, which you can see from the photos.
We found this apartment to be perfect for us -- we enjoyed our stay here immensely. It is ideally located - just 3 blocks from the Santa Maria Novella train station. It was easy to walk there from the station and back when we departed. We spent a week in Florence, saw all of the sights on both sides of the river and never needed a taxi. The immediate neighborhood, while only a few blocks from all of Florence's many attractions, is non-touristy and has many good eateries and shops, which we enjoyed.
The apartment itself is charming, well designed and very comfortable. We loved coming back to it after a hard day of sight-seeing. Roberto was very attentive and helpful. We hope to return to Florence and, when we do, we will definitely stay at this apartment again.
