The Seafarer is one of the few low rise condos in Destin. Directly on the beach, it has only 3 floors in the building. This 2 bedroom unit is located on the west corner for beautiful gulf sunset views from the balconies in the living room downstairs and a second beachfront balcony in the master bedroom upstairs.

The beautiful 300 foot white sand beach of Destin is a few feet from your balcony and is accessed easily by using the stairs or elevator. The Track amusement park is just across the street. Big Kahuna's Water Park is only a few blocks and Destin's famous Back Porch restaurant is in walking distance. This is one of Destin's best locations for your family.

There are 2 king-size beds and a sleeper sofa. This condominium overlooks the pool and hot tub as well as the beach. This unit has just been refurbished with new paint and appliances, new beds and mattresses and the new granite kitchen counters and wet bar. Professionally decorated, the property is available for the first time in 2011. Extensive remodeling with new bathroom updates in November of 2013.

Keywords: Remodeled and direct on the beach. Beautiful west end corner unit in the heart of Destin. Walking distance to family fun parks, restaurants and shops. The best location!

I'm a marketing consultant and travel all over. I rarely have time to plan in advance for my own personal time and decided I would like to find a place for people just like me. No hassle, no worrying about parking, getting to restaurants, or a spot on the beach no matter what time of day.

Why The Owner chose Destin Gulfgate

I wanted someplace direct on the beach so I can literally walk out the door and be there. I didn't want to have to ride a tram or trolley, walk through a lobby or across the street. This one of the few small complexes on the beach and it's all about the beach for me!!!

What makes this condo unique

I love the beach front location. You can listen to the waves and watch the ocean and people all day. With private access code protected access to the beach the crowds are small and there's always room. The private complex pool and hot tub at beach level are great year round.

Engagement weekend

This condo was perfect!! My boyfriend now fiancé went down for a long weekend just the two of us. It was perfect! The view from both balconies was absolutely beautiful. I couldn't have picked a better place to stay on the best weekend of my life!! Condo was centrally located to many great restaurants and activities as well. The beach was never really too crowded perfect for a getaway or a family vacation! Staff was friendly and very helpful. We loved this condo and hope to come back soon! Highly recommended!!

Excellent Condo & Location!

This condo was the perfect choice for us. There were only two of us but, the condo being so big, there would have been plenty of room for a family or vacationing couples. The unit has newly updated stainless steel appliances in the roomy kitchen that is perfect for cooking. It also had a wet bar with a built in wine fridge which was nice. The building only has two rows of condos so the beach was never crowded. Being able to walk a couple hundred yards to the back porch for food and drinks was a nice perk as well.

The owner was a pleasure to deal with and we look forward staying in unit 201 again!

it seams like you do not care how things are in side....need new bed sheets ASAP,and lots of small upgrades/cleaning .toilet does not work ....shower door filthy.carpet....tiles...

GET NEW MANAGEMENT AND CLEANING CREW.

seafarer management would not tell us where to get key or any helpful information about your unit .......

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. I have just completed several stays over the winter and my property is in top shape. This winter all appliances were upgraded to stainless steel and new beds where put in both rooms. I have inspected it personally and stayed there numerous times. I did speck with the property management company about your visit and remarks. I understand your frustration as you felt a 10:30 AM check in should have been allowed - however your reservation clearly outlined the check in and out policy. I'm sorry for your experience but can assure you my home is in perfect shape for guests.

My husband and I were lucky enough to return to Destin and stay in Seafarer 201!! This time no boys, just us! We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary!! It was a PERFECT!! We love the location, the smaller unit allows for fewer people on your beach and the beach is truly breathtaking!! Already planning for next summer!! Just like the Corona beer commercial says " to find your beach" ....we did!!!
