To enjoy country life is to enjoy an evening barbecue after a satisfying holiday day, or to taste a glass of wine in our vaulted cellar. Or to enjoy the sunset from on patio. Fill up on the Oden Forest's good mountain air. Enjoy a fresh peppermint tea from our farmer's garden. Or simply spend the day lazing about, observing the surrounding farm life. If that all sounds attractive, then this is the right place! You may, of course, plan an active vacation here. Cycling, hiking, riding (you can also bring your own horse), swimming, mountain biking, gliding, or paragliding. The region has a well-marked network of hiking trails. We place great importance on sleeping quality. Each apartment has it's own particular profile. As far as it is possible, we endeavour to fulfil all of your wishes.

Exclusively furnished, newly completed vacation apartment with a separate entrance and a dream location. You'll forget everything in our Fruit Storehouse, and you won't want for any comforts. The apartment is fantastically furnished, both in the bedroom the kitchen area. The kitchen includes a tabletop grill. Coffee machine, water boiler, hand mixer and dishwasher are all a matter of course. Offset levels lend a special charm. The balcony offers a unique view of the Oden Forest. Experience an indescribable sunset. We also have a reclining deck chair, cushioned chairs and a parasol. Should you not wish to prepare food, you can visit one of the 5 guesthouses in town. They provide a broad spectrum of choices, assuring that every one will find something suitable. Informational material for undertakings, such as hiking maps, and a schedule for the 'Natourbus' are available.

Our country house is situated on a sunny terrace at the outskirts of Rothenberg, 25 km north-east of Heidelberg. It has a view of the beautiful Oden Forest's landscape. Eberbach, Erbach, Michelstadt, Amorbach and Miltenberg are just some of the many romantic little towns which are worth visiting. Rothenberg itself is a veritable paradise for hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, Nordic walking, fishing, or simply relaxing on the lawn. During the winter, you can go cross-country skiing or tobogganing in this is a fairy-tale landscape. Fill up on tranquillity and good air (no through traffic). There are beautiful pools available during the summer. Barbecue in the inner courtyard during the evening, or visit one of the locals. From cosy beer gardens to a cocktail bar and high-class restaurants, there's something here for every one. For each season, Oden Forest has its own special charm: the blooming orchards of spring, summer freshness when the valleys become unbearable, colourful forests

Additional information about rental rates

  • The price is valid for 4 persons and bookings of at least 7 days. Each additional person costs €10.00 per day. There are no additional costs. There is a 10% discount starting at the 3rd week. The beds are made.

    Daily bookings: we can only accept bookings of less than one week on a last-minute basis. For such short stays, we charge a €25.00 final cleaning fee. Bedding can be brought one's self. Naturally we'll be happy to provide bedding (€8.00 a bed).

Dieser Ferienhof ist einfach toll! Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal auf dem Ferienhof in Rothenberg und waren wieder begeistert. Die Ferienwohnungen sind komplett eingerichtet, sehr gepflegt und es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Eigentlich ist es noch schöner, als auf den Fotos zu sehen. Für Kinder gibt es genügend Spielmöglichkeiten und Ausspannen konnten wir im gemütlichen Innenhof. Dazu die umwerfende Aussicht auf die Landschaft ringsum und die sehr nette Vermieterfamilie. Es war wieder erholsam und genauso, wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben.
Durch die Nähe zum Neckar und zu Heidelberg und Mannheim ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Der Ferienhof ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.
