This five-bedroom, three-bath house is a perfect place for a family reunion, a beach getaway, or a surfing vacation. It is located at Rincon Point, a small gated community just south of the quaint beach town of Carpinteria. Our house is just across the street from beautiful Rincon Beach, home to three world-famous surf breaks.

The living area of our home has a large living room with fireplace. The huge dining room table easily seats ten, and the fully-stocked kitchen is large enough to prepare food for a crowd. Also on the main level are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a den, and laundry facilities. Upstairs you will find two more bedrooms including the master, a second den/game room, a second-floor deck, and a rooftop lookout with views to the Channel Islands.

The yard includes a front and back patio with seating, a gas grill, and even an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand when you return from the beach. In the garage you'll find beach toys, chairs, and boogie boards.

Rincon Point is a small, gated community adjacent to Rincon Beach. This beach is world-famous for its three surf breaks. The Rincon Classic surf competition is held here each January and you will be just steps away from the action. Besides surfing, it's also a beautiful place for beach-combing, swimming, and sunbathing.

Rincon Point is just five minutes away from the beach town of Carpinteria, where you will find groceries, restaurants, banks, shops, and everything else you might need. Carpinteria State Beach has a seal rookery, where you can see hundreds of harbor seals from the bluffs above. Carpinteria is also home to the Avocado Festival in October, and the Rods & Roses Classic in June.

Our house is less than 20 minutes south of Santa Barbara. Here you will find the Zoo, Mission, Botanical gardens, Museums, and the popular State Street shopping and restaurant district. You can rent bicycles to ride along the beach, go whale-watching or deep-sea fishing, take a trip to the Channel Islands, or watch a polo game.

If you choose to venture out, there are many activities for you and your family to enjoy. But the house is large and comfortable enough that you might want to just stay put and enjoy the beach!
