This beautiful townhouse is a true gem in the heart of the most desirable neighborhood in San Francisco - Cow Hollow. The building is brand new, completed in Nov-2010. This immaculate townhouse is owned and occupied by the developer of the 3 unit building.
There are many attributes that make this property truly exceptional. The unit is occupied by 3 levels of an impeccably designed floor plan. It comes with 2 car parking in a garage with access to a private elevator, taking you and your guests directly to either the bedroom or living level.
The first and lower floor consists of a master bedroom with a private bath and walk in closet. There is also a well appointed guest bedroom and state of the art office that is convertible into a 3d bedroom depending on your needs. The office has a large flat screen TV that doubles as a computer screen or television.
The second floor consists of an open floor plan with the kitchen, living and dining room. All appliances are top of the line Miele manufactured. The dining room table is custom built with an exotic black walnut top surrounded by extraordinary comfortable Restoration Hardware chairs. Huge flat screen TV over the fireplace with a deep, relaxing couch to enjoy sports events or a movie.
The top floor is a private roof deck with a hot tub, outdoor shower, kitchen island with a BBQ, sink and fridge. The roof also has a dining table and wrap around couch. There is also a 12' long glass light well looking that doubles as a bar for entertaining. The hot tub was custom built with gorgeous redwood. Enjoy a hot shower after relaxing in the tub with incredible sweeping views from the Golden Gate bridge to Alcatraz. There are 3 speakers up there as well to listen to your favorite music.
Everything was built to a very high end specification. The townhouse features many luxuries such as: radiant heat, 4 separate Sonos zones to play different music or watch TV in each separate zone at the same time, built in speakers in the living room, master bdrm, office, and roof deck, gas fireplace, and beautiful art.
The neighborhood: this property is located a half a block from Union Street which I think is the best neighborhood in the city. Step out the front door, walk to the best restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and nightlife the city has to offer. It is perfectly located in the heart of Cow Hollow and only a few blocks down the hill to famous Chestnut Street with more shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Walk only 9 blocks down to the water on Fillmore and Marina Green.
I developed and built this building only a few years ago. This unit was custom designed as the ideal city townhouse. Given my travel schedule, it only makes sense for me to rent it to trustworthy folks who can enjoy it as much as I do.

Owner John Bickford has built an exceptional property and is doing travelers who do not want to experience San Francisco from a hotel room a tremendous favor by making his home available.
The photos, while accurate, do not do justice to the property. Well located just off of Union Street, there are restaurants, a Real Food grocery a block down Fillmore (all you need in the way of groceries), pretty much anything you might want within walking distance.
The home is impeccably clean and quite well equipped, from kitchen gear to media. The view from the rooftop deck is much more compelling than the photos.
The owner is reasonable and responsive, and Kelli, the property manager is wonderful. She even came back to let us in after we locked our tickets in the home on our way out and allowed us to make our flight.
Lastly, I recommend purchasing the insurance. We did, and after damaging a corner of the garage (a tight fit) the insurance company covered the claim and we saved a lot of money.
I would recommend this property to anyone thinking of spending time in San Francisco.
One final recommendation: you must try Umami Burger, about a 2 minute walk from the property.
