If you are looking to stay in one of the classiest homes in Central Austin, this is your best bet. This is a 4,000 square foot home with 3 stories and cool outdoor patios. It is stocked full of all of the luxury-style amenities you can dream of. The kitchen is decked out with top of the line appliances, the rooms boast tons of natural light and super comfy beds, and the house is beautiful and spacious. The basement apartment is a refuge from the main house and can be a nice space for some privacy. The backyard has a beautiful pool with an infinity hot tub attached to the pool so you can cool off and then get hot, cool off, get hot, repeat, etc. This amazing home is tucked away on a quiet street and has a sweet swanky modern look.

The house is located near the corner of Peach Tree and Bluebonnet in the heart of the 78704 district which is known as the coolest neighborhood in Austin. It's creative and serene, but just a quick walk or bike ride away from everything that Austin has to offer - Barton Springs, restaurant row on Barton Springs Blvd., the thriving South Lamar district and tons of great eats, cafes and boutiques. In about a 5 minute car ride, you can be right in the heart of downtown. We are a quick walk to Town Lake for biking and jogging, and we're right next door to several bus stops that can take you to wherever you want to go in other areas of Austin.

This is NOT a party house. We do not allow bachelor or bachelorette parties here. We are tucked away in a quiet neighborhood and we are not able to accommodate groups whose main intention is to have loud celebrations. We prefer family groups or groups of friends or colleagues who are coming to Austin and plan to enjoy our city responsibly and enjoy our house respectfully and calmly.

About Moya Khabele

My name is Moya Khabele. I have three children, ages 11, 8 and 3. I went to UT here in Austin and eventually ended up starting a school. We now run 3 campuses around Austin and serve almost 500 students. Of course, our three kiddos go to our school! We have been in Austin for over 20 years and both love the city. I have also traveled all over the world, traveling is quite a hobby for me. I have been to pretty much every continent and seen all of the most beautiful cities in the world. And yet, Austin is still my favorite! Austin has just the right mix of small town feel with urban sensibility. It's known as the oasis of Texas because it's full of creative folks, artists, amazing live music, festivals, and cultural events.

After living in Austin for 20 years and living in literally every Central Austin neighborhood inside and around the city, 78704 is by far the best area of Austin. I love it because it's calm and serene, full of creative and nice people, and yet just minutes to the city center. So you can get a break from the hustle and bustle, but at the same time be super close when you want to go get great food, meet friends for drinks, check out live music, etc. This property is quite special for the area because it's a brand new remodel and has all of the amenities and high end finish out you could imagine. So you get to stay in one of the hip and laid back areas of Austin, but immerse yourself in the lap of luxury in this beautiful home. For us also we love the pool and hot tub. A pool is a must in the summer time in Austin and at night you can relax in the hot tub with a drink. Perfect!

What makes this house unique

This house also has a sweet basement apartment, which is almost unheard of in Texas. The basement is a great refuge from the rest of the house and gives folks a chance to have some privacy and peace and quiet. There's also a big screen TV, so the boys can head down there for football or the kids can head down for kid movie night while the adults stay upstairs. We also have a sweet patio overlooking the pool. It's lovely at night time to sit out on the patio with friends.

This house is a quick walk to Austin's famous Barton Springs pool in the Zilker neighborhood. We about 5 blocks away from all of the cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques of Barton Springs and about 10 blocks away great shopping, eating, and drinking of South Lamar. We pretty much live in the best neighborhood in all of Austin. Jump in your car and you'll be to downtown in about 5 minutes and take the city bus (bus stop just two blocks from our house) and you'll be downtown in about 10 minutes. Also, the house is just 3 blocks away from a city park with a basketball court, tennis courts, a walking trail and several cool play scapes for the kids. Just a few blocks away is an entrance to Austin's famous greenbelt where you can take nice hikes and jump in the water. The house is located in Austin's 78704 district, which is known as one of Austin's 'hippest' neighborhoods. It is filled with creative houses, nice people, and locally-owned businesses. If you're coming to Austin to get the real Austin experience, this neighborhood is your best bet. It's located in the heart of what makes Austin 'Austin'.
