This designer decorated home sits on the quiet backside of the golf course community of Teton Springs adjacent to the Targhee National Forest and overlooking the 9th fairway of this classic Byron Nelson course. Included with the rental of the home is access to all facilities at the Headwaters Club, including golf, tennis, Olympic size pool and hot tubs, health club, spa and dining privileges.
If you are interested in skiing, 'Powder' Magazine featured Teton Valley in their November 2012 issue calling it a 'promised land for powder skiers...a backcountry that spans 50 miles along the untouched west slope of the Tetons...unrivaled almost anywhere else in the world.' Cross country skiing is just out your back door and back country skiing is less than 15 minutes away. The Grand Targhee Ski Resort, known for its wide open slopes is just 25 minutes from the home and if you are looking for more of a challenge, the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is approximately 40 minutes away. Both resorts are known for lots of powder and excellent skiing.
The closest airport is Jackson (JAC) only 45 minutes from the cabin. Other nearby attractions include Yellowstone National Park, 2 hours away, which is wonderful anytime of the year- a mecca of geysers and wildlife and best seen in the winter by snowmobile. Fishing in the area is legendary with the South Fork of the Snake River, the Teton River and the renowned Henry's Fork all close by. We are happy to suggest guides. Wildlife abounds with moose, elk, antelope, ospreys and eagles often seen from the cabin windows.
Our cabin is over 3,100 square feet and features 3 levels with cathedral ceilings, gas fireplaces, granite counter tops, comfortable furnishings many extra amenities. The lower level has its own kitchenette and entrance and each bedroom has its own full bath with whirlpool tubs on the lower level as well as the Master. The cabin has multiple televisions and high speed WiFi internet access.
There are 4 bedrooms, all with private baths. The main Master has a king bed, balcony overlooking the golf course and ponds, as well as an extra large closet. The bathroom, which looks out towards a field with aspen trees and the Targhee National Forest has 2 sinks, a whirlpool tub and separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and bath. The third bedroom has has 2 twin beds and a bathroom. The lower level second Master bedroom has a king bed, a bathroom with 2 sinks, whirlpool tub and separate shower. There is also a kitchenette there and a lock off entrance.
