Best Vacation Rental Ever!

I have stayed at some of the finest resorts, corporate rentals and hotels world-wide and I have to say that there is no way to put a price on a quiet, restful sleep. No sounds of car doors banging, tire screeching, EMS sirens, train/jet engine; none of that! The idyllic Massachusetts countryside was gorgeous, especially in the fall. This 2-bedroom unit far exceeded my expectations during my business/leisure trip that I can't wait to return. The proprietors made my daughter and I feel like one of their family and it seemed that all of the slightest details were covered. The only thing left would have been a fully-catered food plan so I wouldn't have to think about even cooking, not that I minded much since I like to cook and this kitchen was fully outfitted. The only negative aspect that I have to add is the stairway leading up to the unit. This would be a problem for those who might have mobility issues, because there is no ramp or elevator. Other than that, I recommend this fully furnished, 2-bedroom unit to only those who desire to get away from hustle and bustle of metro-Boston and enjoy the countryside while it still exists. It truly is a home away from home.

incredible little hideaway

It always was difficult to find luxury lodgings in Blackstone Valley, and as a corporate traveler I usually end up 30 or more minutes away to visit one of my clients in Uxbridge. This unit is perfect! The tempurpedic mattress was so comfortable and the surroundings are quiet and cozy. Everything was so immaculate. The owners left me a selection of coffees and teas for the Keurig with all the fixings. I loved the cookies - definitely bakery purchased. I felt so relaxed, like being at home and easy to find, just 1 mile from my Uxbridge client. I definitely will stay again and again!

Excellent Accommodations at a Very Reasonable Rate

We found this little carriage house apartment through HomeAway and knew from the photos and description that it was perfect for our week-end away. We wanted to be near Boston and though a little outside Boston, this was easy to find and not at all far off the highway. It is located next to the owners' house and is up one flight of stairs which was no problem for us. Everything is just as you see in the photos- simple and elegant and with all the amenities. The owners have clearly taken great care in renovating this space to provide quality furnishings in a clean and impeccable environment and they were very accommodating about arrival time, etc. They took the trouble to make us feel welcome with little touches like complementary cookies for us in the kitchen. It was perfect for what we needed and so reasonably priced. We'd definitely recommend this place to others!
