The home rests gracefully in the center of the historic Alexander Company development of Ramon Rise, nicknamed Little Beverly Hills because of the street names that match its more famous Los Angeles namesake. Little Beverly Hills is a quiet neighborhood of original midcentury homes nestled against the Mesquite Country Club golf course, just southeast of downtown Palm Springs, in an area that enjoys calm, sun-filled weather and glorious views of the San Jacinto Mountains. You'll be close to restaurants and shops in Downtown and South Palm Springs, with grocery stores and the airport minutes away. This property is only 1.9 miles from downtown!
Walk through the front door and step into an airy great room where kitchen, dining, and living areas flow together. Vaulted ceilings, polished concrete floors, and a wall of windows and sliding glass doors offer views and direct access to the backyard and new pool, creating the feel of indoor/outdoor living. Discreet roller shades and two-zone AC help keep the room and the entire house cool even on summer days. The all-new open kitchen is fully equipped and features a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and stove and a decorative collection of period art glass. Adjacent is a dining area, with an expandable table that can seat up to eight. In the living area, two sofas, a web-enabled flat screen HDTV with DVR/cable and Blu-ray DVD, and a gas fireplace create a relaxing space for conversation and entertainment. Two master bedrooms with king-size beds at opposite ends of the home feature their own en suite bathrooms, web enabled flat screen HDTVs with cable, and direct access to the backyard and pool. Two additional bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with twin beds, offer flexible room arrangements for guests.
Outside the large, newly landscaped property features ample room for lounging, entertaining and enjoying the wonderful mountain views. The rear yard and pool area offers complete privacy. Aside the new pool, there is lounge seating with a large patio umbrella and tree-shaded areas.
