Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

Perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. View the pool from the balcony while having lunch al fresco. Eat in using the fully equipped kitchen or choose from many restaurants close by. Just a short drive to the mountaintop village of Blowing Rock & the Blue Ridge Parkway or the big city of Charlotte to the south. Shop the "20 miles of furniture" or head to the Hickory Furniture Mart where you can still find Made in USA pieces. Explore the quaint city of Hickory. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!!

About The Owner

We enjoy working smarter, not working harder and one of the benefits is having time to vacation in beautiful Lake Hickory! It's a great get-away from the heat of summer in South Florida.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2007
Why The Owner chose Lake Hickory

We fell in love with the property and bought it within 2 hours of our first viewing! It reminds us of summer in the Adirondack Mountains in New York State, where we are originally from. We especially enjoy having a meal on the deck overlooking the pool & lake. Mornings are spent having coffee and watching the squirrels play in the trees. The back of the condo is 3 stories up and has the feel of a treehouse.

What makes this condo unique

The property is only 2 miles from the marina where we keep our boat. Lake Hickory Marina rents boats & jet skis. It is within walking distance of 2 community parks: Glen C. Hilton Park and Geitner Park (with boat launch & bike trails). Historic Downtown is a short drive with restaurants and an historic movie theatre.

I enjoyed the stay. The condo was comfortable and met all our expectations. I would definitely recommend to others.
