About Jill Maier
My name is Jill, I live in CT where I manage a dental office. I have two children, a boy and girl who keep me very busy. I have family in ME and we visit several times a year.
Jill Maier purchased this house in 2006
Why Jill Maier chose Cape Elizabeth
Originally owned by my grandmother, I acquired this property in 2006. There are so many special family memories here. It is such a wonderful area, very tranquil, I am truly at peace here. It is hard to explain to someone how beautiful the Maine coast is who has never experienced it for themselves, for those who have, I need say no more! I have been blessed to have spent so many summer weeks in Maine. My hope is that everyone who stays at this unique beach house will go home feeling like they cannot wait to come back! That is how I always feel.
What makes this house unique
This is the perfect spot for relaxing. You can hear and see the ocean from the house and just have to walk to the end of the road to stick your feet in the sand. Because the house is located on a private road, there is no traffic noise and it is very safe for kids to ride bikes or walk to the beach themselves, that is one thing my kids absolutely love!! The neighbors are very friendly and everyone respects each others privacy. You can walk or bike to Kettle Cove and Two Lights State Park. Because Portland is only a 15 min drive away you really get the best of both worlds between relaxing at the beach and going into the city for shopping, dining and entertainment, not to mention a Sea Dogs game, great old New England stadium! We go to at least one or two games a year.
