Best Accommodations of Entire Arkansas Trip!
We took our 8-year-old grandson on a "rock hounding" trip to Arkansas. Stayed in Mt. Ida to collect quartz and Murfreesboro to look for diamonds. Our stay in Murfreesboro was wonderful! The house is roomy and stocked with everything you might need except your food. We were all a little stressed after staying in tiny motel rooms for several days and it was so relaxing to have room to spread out! The yard is magnificent. We saw deer and rabbits from the back porch every morning. The biggest hit for our grandson was the fishing pond. A kid's dream with fish biting almost immediately when the worm hits the water! :-) Our very shy grandson also thought "Mr. Bill" was wonderful and looked to see if he was outside every time we returned to the house from an outing.
We were a little skeptical when the description and reviews sounded too good to be true, but they were all true. The main bath is very large and roomy, the beds are very comfortable, ceiling fans and central air made the temperature very comfortable, a big, fully stocked kitchen made it fun to cook in after several days of eating out, and the large covered front and back porches with swings and rocker made it fun to sit outside, even in the heat.
The owners are great people and truly make your stay the best of the vacation. You won't be disappointed by this private rental!

Owner's Response: CHERYL----Thank you so much for taking the time to give us a good review. So glad we were able to help you have a nice quiet vacation and that your grandson was able to catch a few fish even as hot as it was. Your family is welcome back anytime. Thanks for choosing shady pines. ---Bill
