A RECENT 5 STAR REVEIW:
I scoured the internet for a whole month before finding this wonderful gem of a place. Stayed here with two other friends and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. The location is fantastic! It works both for first timers and for regular Paris visitors. Easily accessible by Metro and by taxi. It is close to all the must-see sights and you can really choose to walk to all of them if you fancy a bit of exercise. But if there is one thing we really loved, it would be the immediate neighborhood. You will find many delightful patisseries, butcher shops, wine shops & cafes walking up and down Rue Monge alone. We loaded up with cold cuts, bread and cheese, and wine that we were tempted to stay home during our whole visit. If you walk down Rue Lacepde on one end you hit the gardens and walk the other way you hit Rue Mouffetard and Place Contrescarpe where you'll find several lovely cafes set up to do a favorite Parisian pastime - people watching. And just a few blocks down you will find an authentic mosque with it's own restaurant. It served the best middle eastern food that we ate there twice. The apartment itself is cozy and conducive to just lounging and relaxing. The space is perfect for friends and family. There is cable but believe me you will have so much to do that switching on the tv will probably never cross your mind. So if you're looking to have a easy going vacation with the option to see the sights from time to time, this is a perfect place for you.Cheers!Monica
